If you lost your iPhone, you need it have mobile internet, not WiFi or Bluetooth :D

    I had that too ;)

Having them seemingly disabled ... is .. just nonsense, IMHO

What it does is to disable 'auto connect' to BT and Wifi stuff while keeping the radio running :)

What I would be more interested in (if my phone had NFC) was to disable that to avoid being hijacked by skimmers and random advertisement bs that seem to be becoming quite popular (ie. send message to a NFC capable device while the customer passes a certain point in the store etc.)

And to make this maybe a little more clear:

If i want to disable WiFi or Bluetooth, i do it because i

    1) dont need it anymore
    2) want to save the power used for those modules
    3) want to save me the radiation, esp. when sleeping
    4) dont want to get tracked

The new way Apple does this, removed any of the above points - you just cannot actively use them anymore, but otherwise and for all of those above points, its still there.

    :|

Yeah while these are set by default on I haven't seen any battery drain while the device is in a sleep state so there's something to be said about power management....

Fucking still can't connect iTunes to redeem 2 codes for apps fuck me.

    Fuck you apple.

    Fuck my iPad

    Fuck

    Anyway.

Are you sure the developer who issued the codes and your account are on the same country? AFAIK the codes are country based.

  • How's it going with 3? Update or hold off?

No probs here. Be aware if you're on Mac and using Duet though. The latest macOS update kills the connection.

    ----- iPad Air 2 - iOS 11.3 -----
I am wondering if anyone else is experiencing a problem with iOS 11.3 that I am having - the "open in another app" function does not seem to be working for me using "wav" files out of AudioShare & AudioCopy or the Files app. I can "open in another app" using an "mp3" or "caf" file but "wav" files won't work. Also, the "open in another app" function seems very slow/sluggish as compared to iOS 11.2.6.

I re-installed AudioShare and gave that a go but no luck. Perhaps I will need to do a clean iOS 11.3 re-install or downgrade back to iOS 11.2.6 in the next day or two while that door is still open. Thanks in advance for any reply.

No issues here, have you tried to do a hard-reset?(Ie. hold down home+power button until you see the Apple logo).
    (I'm on iPad Air 2, iOS11.3).

Hey, @Samu. Thank you for your reply/help. Yes, I did do a hard reset but problem remains. Very strange.

Anyway, good to hear that you have no problems though as that means I can do a clean re-install of iOS 11.3 and then restore from a backup. Thanks again!

Some iPhone apps do rotate properly on the iPad but far from all of them.
WWDC'18 will be interesting to follow for sure as it will give hints on what to expect from iOS12.
iOS11.4 is also just around the corner...

Yeah also being able to make iphone apps all capable of "slide over" functionality if using it in an ipad would make sense too :)
I hate using an iphone app on a 12.9 in portrait mode and seems like it should be basic functionality by now to adjust how you view iphone apps on ipads...

iOS apps on Mac would be awesome for audio... B)

Yup. After a quick test on the phone I jumped right in.

Running fine on my ICA4+ as I type...

Ios 11 broke iconfig (both the midi and for audio version) on my 12.9" ipad pro 1st gen. I have to plug in an older pad to adjust anything on the ica4+. Tech support said the app is hosed.

May i ask what ipad you're using? Is iconfig for audio working?

Yeah, I'm aware of it, but I'm using the Mac for iConfig...

Just tried it (iPad Air 2) and seems to be working fine. Running the latest firmware (2.0.3) by the way...
