Can get some really nice three dimensional sound staging going on.

  • Yeah I cant unlock the cowbell, and I had one crash..on video...which should be live in about 1 minute. i shall post anyway....but if it was a choice between Master FX and this...go for Master FX

  • OK watching now!

And here it is..and there may be a problem viewing some countries because it contains 2 tracks by other people...

  • Yeaaaah...I can see why this is difficult to describe...thanks for the video Doug, that makes it a lot clearer!

I can understand why this is very useful and attractive if you're into this kind of stuff and the idea of buying slots and then unlocking effects and synths is new and original...but no, not for me really...

  • Will pass on this as well! But big thanks as always to Doug!

  • Your lucky you seen it...I've just had to pull it...I can do it with AB.....because I'm violating copy write....

  • The Game Center aspect is problematic as I've unlocked everything on one device but not on another so it seems I'd have to spends many hours for each device to duplicate my achievements on other devices. Please correct me if I'm wrong about the Game Center aspect.

  • Here's a screen shot of the change that happens to your score depending upon which device you're on but fortunately what you've unlocked on the device remains, but it's not like an IAP that you can restore on a different device.

  • Whoah, that was quick! Are they THAT fast onto copyrighted stuff being posted? And I take it you can only use the featured tracks from their list? That's quite a limitation actually...

  • You can use an app like djay in the input slot in AB, but you'll only be able to play effects and even though the synths can be loaded into CTRL music, they have no effect on the sound, only the filters and effects whereas outside of AB you can use the synths, so yes it's a serious limitation.

  • Yep the YT Bots are on it as it uploads

The recordings you make within the app aren't digital or analog recordings but rather allow you to download the same song again and play it back using the same iOS movement/touch data and device settings you originally used. This is brilliant but it'd be even better if we could do it with our own songs stored on the iOS, device, our computers, Dropbox, etc... It would go a long way towards solving the issue of having to have multiple copies of source files as each app has to use it's own copy in iOS since we've been saddled with sandboxing in iOS since day one. You could even reuse the playing movements you made as presets and use them with other pieces of music. Another drawback with the current app is that you have to be connected to the internet to play the songs in the app "catalog of songs".

  • The initial buggy release has been followed up by an even buggier update. Save your money until the developers get their act together on this app.
