I know. Just excited lol.
My recommendation in regards to the MC707 is to make sure you get your hands on one first. Yes, feature-wise they're totally on track. But the experience working with it is nothing like the immediacy you get on the SP404.
And hands-on control that is enough fun to justify the purchase would be my number one reason for buying a hardware box.
Groove Rider has covered a lot of this ground on iOS already and when Drambo gets the same synchronization options, it looks like a very good successor to Groove Rider.
I only know fragments of what modules Drambo contains but I highly welcome the way @giku_beepstreet manages the development of it. Being open for experimentation with new concepts changes, even throwing away one concept or another, is the best attitude to build a fantastic product in the end.
BTW, my second music app (after Beatmaker 1) on my first Apple device, an iPodTouch 3rd gen, was iSequence:

It's fun to see how the just different sequencer concept has made it 'til today 😁
Definitely a genuine, welcome kind of inspiration.
Well sp404 is very straightforward without any menus but 707 seems more like MC909 evolution plus some new goodies as live looping channels and abletonclipping workflow...
but yes it seems a bit too much menu and too less memory... that's why I said it seems pricey for what it does. I will go the DJS1000 route (plus fader controller well mapped) for that amount of money probably.
About Drambo or GR16 I don't like iOS based samplers/grooveboxes for many reasons (aside iOS itself) but mainly by not having true dedicated control surface designed as one. Less even about midi dazzling to make things work... nonononono please.
I need something like Circuit with truly sampling capabilities and full compatibility with Launchpad app (well if its integrated inside the box then forget about the iPad better).
In the end I will build my own midi controller surface adapted to GTL for looping and something in the line for Launchpad app and run these in dedicated iDevices. BangXbuck I will love to see something like that happening or iOS developers making dedicated surface controllers for their apps like @AmpifyxNovation.
Surprisingly, I don’t think there’s any footage out there of us making actual sandwiches. Seems like a lost opportunity. Hmmmm
speaking of sequencer... am i corect when> @slicetwo said:
I think it's good idea for next EP - with green glowing sandwich as cover .. back to roots
One day I'm going to bring my Circuit round to your house and watch how you do it all etc. And drink tea also
This !! Constantly regretting i sold mine. Especially now, when i got Mono Station from my wife as xmas present :-) Probably will soner or later purchase Circuit back again. Amazing toy.
thank you for this
I'd sign a petition for that!
out of 80 if only 20 Modules are sampler related or specific we might be on the verge of a little slice of heaven
he said slice, hee hee.
so are the P.Locks in Damn, bro Elektron style where they return to zero after each tweak (hopefully) or the kind that stay in effect until you pick a step to manually return them to zero on?
It works like in Elektrons, p-lock is active until next trig
@giku_beepstreet i know this won’t be in v1, but would it be possible ever to have a native 4x4 pad layout? I guess I could run some other 4x4 pad AU and play it but was hoping for a fully native solution for finger drumming.
wonderful!... thank you
Stop summoning him from his coding cave!
new year new drambo?
I remember last year around this time it was supposed to be released in the beginning of the year (or even january?!) as well.
Fingers crossed that History doesn’t repeat itself!
Happy New Drambo for all!

This is at the top of my wish list. Anyone have a release date?
It will be released in 12 parsecs.
It’s January 2020! Push the release button!
Waiting for Drambo is so last decade.
🤣
sounds good!
Damn. That's lovely.
