I can release this as a separate AU Fx if there is a need :)

If you release it, they will buy.

    I take 2 to please!
I would also buy it for mac....(still want Zeeon there) if it would ever happens.
But i really want the phaser and chorus as AU FX if they are not in Drumbo.
Oh and i also want Dagger for iOS. Zeeon is great but Dagger is more brutal and punchy if needed.
Let me say i‘m impressed by your DSP works in general and so i hope it will not stay only on iOS.
I just like to buy your tools everywhere :)

  • Thanks Giku. What’s the rough ETA?

  • Isn’t it time for another teaser? ;)

    Insane

btw. I changed p-locks . Instead of holding step + knob, parameters can be directly edited on step sequencer. Step + knob works great with hardware, this method is more fun on touch screen.

  • Sounds fantastic. The last three demos of iOS things I’ve heard, this, the D1 synth and the Brambros drums, all seem to be taking sound quality to another level.

Sweet! that seems to make a lot of sense actually. Does it still allow for bi-directional params? Asking as I’m Hoping you opted for the Octatrack/Morphagene style speed/pitch behaviour ;) And with the optimism that Mutable Instruments stuff still might get ported <~~~allowed to dream ;)

Can’t wait to check this out! Vaguely interested in OP-Z atm but if Drambo has similar step components/trig conditions etc and performace fx etc then I’d much rather throw money at beepstreet + connectivity hardware than TE.

Yes, as you see Sampler has Pitch and Rate params. Rate is bidirectional. All is audio-rate modulated. All thanks to your suggestions :)

As about specific modules. Drambo will be kind of open environment, that will be developed and extended long after release.

  • @giku_beepstreet Will Drambo scale correctly to 96khz when using an audio card? Last time I checked both Zeenon and Sunriser effects are not scaling correctly at 96khz as I mentioned previously.

  • Aw, come on. That looks finished! Let's rock this thing...

  • How is this one? Compared to say voice synth? Seems a bit niche in a cool way?

    Absolutely. Completely. Definitely.

Actually, I think this is being designed to cover many bases and many niches as it is a modular concept that will be continually expanded on in the future. That's my take, anyway...

  • The modular concept makes this really really interesting. Who knows where Giku will take this thing!? Neato.

This is what DRambo is: :)

Its just an empty modular rack designed to be user friendly (no cables) and fun.
You can put inside everything you want: sequencers, synthesis, modulation, MIDI and audio processing modules. Modules are "kind of intelligent", see each other and react. e.g. Sequencer knows when you select a track in Drum rack module. It can work as instrument, audio or midi effect.

I am not aware of all use cases yet ;)

  • I feel weak.

This sounds amazing, I cannot wait for this.

  • It took a few months longer than expected. Too many changes and iterations.. I hope it will be worth waiting

When can we expect it to hit the App Store? :)

Of course it’s worth waiting to get it done right. Special app deserves special attention.

  • Looking very interesting - out of interest will it have Elektron style nth note triggers? I can see the probability options which is okay (personally I think randomness is over-rated as a musical thing).

However triggering every nth (i.e 4th or 3rd) iteration of a note cycle would be brilliant especially if that propagates to midi out and other parameter locks type things.

I do believe I may have moistened myself. So yes.
