Before hopes get raised from lack of context, I was jokingly reading into giku_beepstreet’s Christmas Mortal Komcat pic as a hidden message.
Wind up then.
Yeah, sorry guv’n’r. If it helps, I keep getting hopeful when I see 30+ new messages in the Drambo thread, thinking the chatter must mean it’s in the hands of the people. Alas, I’ll be spending Christmas out in the cold, watching through the window as the other kids play with their toys.
The real tip off will be 30 new threads.
@burns_audio
"brambo" thats soo much me :-))) i'm master of typos
)
i have to say i really like this thread, positive mood and comittment of enhusiastic people here ... enthususiasm is infectious.. fook trolls, keep the vibe continue

Ok beta team. Let’s take the hint. At some point we’re no longer helpful to the development of this app by talking about how great it is. I’ve been hesitant to mention having beta access on the forum because it felt a little silly and there was no reason before someone asked a question I felt I could answer. Let’s just be mindful of how much hype can actually work against a product?
Maybe the beta team should start a group DM or a discord channel to talk to each other and share info? Sounds and projects? As a way to get it out of our system and not torture everyone who doesn’t have access?
And then we can be useful here to answer questions when @giku_beepstreet isn’t available. I love hearing things to test from users (thanks @dendy) so if anyone has other specific situations please throw them my way. I have pretty much every daw and would be happy to make sure things work.
I couldn't let that one pass by 😄 cheers
@DJB blah, just keep this vibe here.. it's nice to see that enthusiasm
I enjoy the sound samples and videos. Maybe beta team folks can post more examples of what it can do. I curious to hear more examples that make use of its Impaktor-like modules.
I’m with @Drez on this one, I appreciate the hard work both the developer @giku_beepstreet and the beta testers have done on the app. I’d prefer they try to refine the app before releasing it. With 110k lines of code and 80 modules which need to be able to work together, it’s not surprising to me it’s taken awhile to develop the app. He’s got a family, had a broken leg, and there is only so much one person can do in a day. Look forward to its release when it’s ready.
People can decide whether they want to read this thread or not. I can’t really understand why some would expect everyone else to contribute to the thread in a way that matches their app development update preferences. There’s nothing wrong with expressing their desires on the matter; however, getting others to agree to it is another matter.
I don’t have the slightest Idea on writing code.. and have the highest respect for the developers here..But, there is a ‘human factor’ to this too.. I think one must consider ‘the customer looking in the store window’... Anyway, let’s see what DCj is talking about..
Don’t you think it’s a little late for that.. with just little over a week before it is released?
@DCJ
How has your experience been with it running Cubasis 2? Does freezing work? Any quirks in how it works in that DAW?
What do you think of the sample(r) modules compared to currently available samplers like Audiolayer; Digistix; EG Pulse; Beathawk; etc.?
Yes usually, but this case is different. I must be sure that core functionality won't be changed and projects will be compatible with previous versions. Drambo is a big, open, modular thing. Every time I add a functional group of modules and use them for some time I discover something (say "improvement"
that affects core. Like, I discovered that using phase signal for synchronization is way better than clock pulses. Some decisions can't be upgraded.
So hopefully in near future we'll be able to set and control the start phase of LFOs/Oscillators?
Bit rude don’t you think? Doesn’t exactly dispel the ‘us and them’ vibe I get from this thread.
For those of us on the outside, we’re just visiting, and occasionally posting to find out when the app will be released so we can see what all the fuss is about.
Yes, its on the list (after release). But you can already make such an LFO, using time and math modules. I know its not instant..
Just to clear things - I'm "out" too, i'm NOT in beta team here ;-) I'm just strongly enjoying posts of giku and other guys with beta access ... some troll here mentioned something about fanboyism - so that was my reaction to this kind of posts.. nothing against polite users with jaut different opinion...
Nevertheless I still think that comment was rude.
Gotcha, for oscillators a was thinking of controlling the 'click level'(start-phase sin->cos) when using a sine wave as the oscillator among other things would work nicely on a triangle wave too
@MonzoPro i'm a bit lost in translation here .. not sure what touched you.. if you think my post was abou you, then totally not !! Didn't noticed nothing "troll like" in your posts ...
The impulse doesn't 'sustain', but sure I could do velocity based mixing of the impulse with other waves too...
(Think velocity -> oscillator start phase).
i know about one synth where this is possible muhehe... ..ok ok, silencum est aureum :-))))
Zeeon does it as one example
good point, that is even not advertisimg of competitor product, because it's same dev
I've tried to dig thru most of the modules and find use cases for them
