If I can build a totally modulatable and midi learnable Impaktor physical modeling drum synth with Drambo I will gladly pay any amount the dev wants . I have used Impaktor professionally for several years now and it has become one of my most indispensable apps. With those two new features I would be in heaven!

Dear Mr. @giku_beepstreet , if I could introduce you to this @hypnopad gentleman, you might enjoy perusing his posts on the forum.

He has some mind-blowing YouTube compositions using Impaktor. If I were in your shoes I would send him a copy of the beta right away. And also ask him if the offer to " gladly pay any amount" includes a willingness to donate some of his time to make a promo video in time for release date.

no pressure to follow up, but wanted you two to connect if you have not already done so.

Did I just look at the wrong person or is that the guy that has 500 views on his most-watched video?

    Yes. So what?

Nothing. Just wanted to make sure I did look at the right person, as he was praised enough for me to be curious.

He's very creative in what he does.
I wonder how much of Impaktor could be replaced by a sampler/synth followed by AAS Objeq. Owning AAS Chromaphone, I'm on the fence with this one because it might be too reduced to be useful .. anyone used it?

  • Thanks for the kind words @Hmtx . I’m fine with waiting for the final release and don’t need a beta version. It would just slow up the process at this point. I would gladly use Drambo in future videos.

The number of views isn't a measure of quality.

  • Heh. Well, as someone who loves Impaktor I have hypnopad at the top of my list for the massive amounts of creativity put into his live synth-drumming compositions.

@Hypnopad , you have a fan here and I’m sure there are many of us on tho forum eager to see what you come up with when Drambo is upon us.

So how difficult would it be to hook up a Launchpad X to my iPad Pro or iPhone Pro and use 64 pads with dramboski for creating an industrial kit out of all the goodness it packs there in?

You can set each track to respond to specific midi channels and notes. So, not difficult :) probably just save a blank version as a template.

  • Release, release, release the app now! We don’t mind if it’s not working well.

Don’t worry, we’ll reward you by leaving shit reviews on the App Store, shit comments on YT and by opening endless buggy app threads on Audiobus forum.

Tbh I'm not even sure whether it's crossed the alpha/beta line. I'm not a habitual app tester so what do I know..

  • Got a few iTunes cards burning a hole in my pocket now waiting on Drambo release ! I wonder what sort of pricing we are gonna be looking at ? A pony ?

Take heed impatient Drambonians! This sounds like it is not prime time yet. Forget about it for a couple of months lol.

I did that almost a year ago, it didn’t work. Although I have slowed way down. I think it has to do with the fact there’s very few left that I don’t have. :D

    Ditto!

  • Will it be possible to connect a module's output to a another module that precedes it in the chain? Krell patches?

Only in delay rack where delayed signal is fed back to the rack inner output. Instant feedbacks are not possible. Thanks to this we have polyphonic stereo processing

:) sounds like a totally reasonable tradeoff

  • What is going on here? In a happy way I just can't read a novel about an app that is in never never land.... Love you drambo whoever you are. Did we kill the app guy by chatting too much haha>?

  • for those that know/beta is this apps workflow complicated like the octatrack or wonderfully creamy like the model samples?

  • beta fam, have you tried making a looper style setup with Drambo? tight audio clip recording and launching would work foir me too! i saw sumthin bout a clip launcher a few pages back but thar be dragons.

I think I may have likened the pattern setup to a clip launcher a few pages back. It’s not exactly that, ie. currently all tracks switch on a pattern change, so no independent clips per track.

There is audio recording, it’s not fully featured yet, I don’t think. However you can record samples on trigger and then play it back.

As far as I know you can do most things that you can do on an octatrack in terms of core functionality, ie. p locking, scenes, patterns. Audio recording has been talked about and there is an audio recorder module with play and record buttons. I think it will get more advanced features in the future.

  • Will the boys at the back be able to figure it out?

  • one more page guys we can do it
