  • Mr President quickly went to the crapper after his twitter finger got carried away, until his staff told him don't worry, we'll tell the Russians when and where we'll attack, so as not to kick off the big one.

I believe that despite trump having been proven to be a complete incompetent bafoon, something good will come from his presidency.

North Korean peace summit and avoiding major conflict with Russia in Syria are very good. Whatever our individual perceptions of the Donald may be.

Mark my word, it wont take more than max 20 years until USA will be revolutionized greatly. Real left getting to power either peacefully or through civil war.

    >

Surely, Left or Right having too much power would be equally bad. Also, in the US, I cannot imagine the Left even coming close to winning a Civil War.

Horfully, people will remember that ‘jaw jaw’is better than ‘war war’ and talk out their differences. :)

The thing is that there havent been a proper democratic or left party in usa in decades. Sure you have a party called democrats, who claim to be lefties, but in reality when you compare democrats of usa to other countries, your left is more right than normal countries (non extreme/far)right wing. So yeah, at the moment the usa right wing has all the power, because your left is part of the right. And the mainstream media is just telling what ever lies their owners want, and the owners are the one of the folks paying for politicians, so they are just adding lies to this pile of shit.

Many people have started to realize this already. Once more and more people start to realize it, they will start to demand change and if the government stops listening(or more like continue not listening) to what majority of people want and just try to oppress them more and more, they will take over the government by any means possible, no doubt about that.

By the way it was the trumps folks that manipulated people into having more and more far right influences, creating even larger gap between left and right, creating hate between people from both sides etc etc through cambridge analyticas facebook manipulation(and did it in assistance of facebook, in case cnn didnt report this and had suckerberg telling lies on air about it). This is what led enough people voting for trump. This sort of little details are starting to come up more and more and no matter how much the mainstream media tries to lie and who evers doing the manipulation of the masses, people will catch onto it and rebel.

But yes it was good that trump bragged about his button being larger than kim jong uns, this is the type of communication that works between this sort of people. However i dont think trump had nearly as much to do with the peace thing as he is saying. Its been clear from the beginning of this that trump lies about his influence on this.

What comes to syria, well yes he managed to not cause ww3 with russia. But if you know about syria, well trump did not do what normal sane person with at least a bit of heart would had done. There was no chemical attack by its government against their own people. There is great reporting on it, but not on usa national tv ofc..

On that we find agreement. :)

I am also suspicious of the alleged involvement of Putin in the recent Salisbury poisoning. Whatever faults he has, and there are many, he is not stupid. As head of state he has any number of less clumsy ways to deal with an enemy on foreign soil.

  • The Trump and Kim thing, who, is playing who. Chemical attacks, let's see the evidence.

A little of both, I suspect. But who cares, as long as it results in deescalation.

As for chemical attacks, at this stage can we believe any evidence. What does not make any sense to me is why Assad would do such a thing, when he’s winning. No strategic importance. Irritates his Russian allies. Gives Western hawks an excuse for military strikes. Lose-lose.

Eh. Wasn’t he the bloke who spent months explaining how neither the Donald or HC was fit to be President, then when his own party used illegal tricks to derail his campaign.... started shouting vote Hilary?

Nah, hes the bloke who despite got personally hurt, still wanted the lesser evil in power who hurt him. Thats noble

He simply recognized who was by leaps and bounds better for the country he’s devoted to. Clinton is much closer to his ideology, Trump is clearly against almost everything he stands for, and this is how the two-party system works on both sides. You try to beat up your opponents in the primaries, and then they become your friends after the nomination. Too bad more of Bernie’s followers didn’t get the message.

Isn’t this where we all go wrong? Thinking that a ‘lesser evil’ is good enough. I mean, taking the US and UK as examples, are H. Clinton, the Donald, T. May and Corbyn really the very best people we can find. I wouldn’t trust any of them to tell me the time of day!

Respecting the forum, I will go no further than referring honourable gentlemen, gentlewomen and those undecided to this interesting quote from Bernie.

    http://www.azquotes.com/quote/1598553

Nah, everything went wrong before and this tries to soften the damage. Anyways it was hard to say if trump or hillary actually was the lesser evil, but trump definitely have showed us that he truly is a money hungry sociopath, who unlike most sociopaths, is dumb as F.

But i think even discussing about this is irrelevant. I dont agree every move of bernie, but there isnt a single person on earth who i would 100% agree on everything..

As always, Jeff, I respect everyone’s right to their view. No ifs or buts. Only an awareness of political persuasion, which colours that view.

Me, I detest all politicians. :) Trusting any of these people just gets us screwed.

    Back OT....

I’m seeing interesting rumours concerning the next generation iBook Pro possibly doing away with that nasty clacky keyboard, in favour of a touch screen with haptic feedback. Meaning that the feel of physical keys could, to some extent be simulated. In effect this would be half an iPad screen strapped to an iBook Pro.

If Apple aren’t thinking of this, then they really should be.Touch screen on both parts of the device, allied with a real trackpad and iBook Pro ports would be brilliant.
