Heh tryeth GarageBand for this. :p Perforator sits nicely above the keyboard

I know and I do hope Garageband gets AUv3 automation with editing soonish :)

I hope not because I’d never see civilization again. :o

I'm pretty sure that some unreleased internal build of GarageBand will be featured during some of the Audio sessions during WWDC'18 to demo new features :)

As for automation editing that is something I really do miss in GarageBand for correcting minor mishaps and avoid recording the automation all over again... (I mean the Touch Instruments can be automated already).

  • This app is fucking insane!

I just used it in AUM and Cubasis no issues!

Try that AXON Audio Damage app thing....wow.

    App is a 10!

Question though(yes rains on own parade)

Ripplemaker InterApp in Cubasis isn't there anymore?

And where is Rozetta in Cubasis?

    I could not find it.

    THanks

I don't think cubasis supports midi AU. Only Bm3 and Aum do.

As is right and proper! EDM trance is not what we do at RTM towers, but the app is such fun. Who knows, inspiration may strike. ;)

In Cubasis you can find Rozeta under the MIDI filters/effects. It’s in the left-hand column for MIDI tracks.

Ripplemaker IAA is a generator, so you probably need to add it to an audiotrack (although I have never used it as an IAA in Cubasis).

Getting some wicked Krautrocky rhythms going using this and Discord4 together.

Oh yes, Brambos nails it again.

Haha, first thing I did was program “the” Motorik beat in it

    K-K-S-K-K-K-S-K

  • My app buying discipline (not buying apps) went out the window for this one. I’m not sure what I’ll do with it yet, but I like the gate effect in Launchpad so I’m thinking I’ll play around with this and have some fun, and maybe come up with something cool.

I used it with Discord on a Mood bassline, alongside Ruismaker going through: Perforator/Discord/Perforator/Discord all triggered via Rozeta in AUM.

No trace of trance, more electro motorik psych if there is such a thing.

    There is now!

  • I’ve been using it in AUM as both audio effect on one channel and having that same instance send ccs to another AUM channel. Quite versatile and low cpu.

  • A sign of @brambos love: I bought this and then said," what does this do?"

    Appreciated! :)

  • I haven’t used it much yet, but the AU midi out makes this much more than the usual trance gate. The separate channel function is different too. This is a lot more than I was expecting, but I did skip the videos, so maybe it was shown in there.

Anyway, it will be super fun coming up with creative applications for these surprise features.

Thank you @brambos . You have done it again. :)

Yeah it’s got the filter thing going on as well, and I like being able to have different gates on each channel.

Very cool in conjunction with other fx.

  • @brambos when new apps are released from devs I usually read in depth to see if I actually need them. But with your products I don't even hesitate and NEVER regret it. Your work is top notch upper crust. Your service to this community is unrivaled in every aspect.

  • Thanks all, I really, really appreciate the kind words. A good way to start this sunny weekend :)

This is the greatest compliment anyone can give. You should quote this on your web page....

  • edited May 2018

Purchased. First thing I'm trying is to pair a trancegate with some Model D pads played by Navichord. Because I can. So there. :D

EDIT: This is kind of a beautiful thing.

5 star and written review submitted to store.

Unlike the disappointment I felt with the most recent env FAC app, this app exceeds my expectations.

Super well done and with Koz it is a dynamic combo of sonic possibilities!

  • Really nice bit of simple stuff. Immediate easy use. ++

    BLASPHEMOUS!!!
Sometimes some thoughts are best left unpublished
Think of Fred Anton Corvest and all his hard work

  • This sure brings an extra dimension of control to Egoist.

Haven’t tried that combo yet, might give it a spin with ReSlice too tonight.

  • Instabuy via Doug‘s link.

    .

Already have something nice going on in AUM:

I put a very gentle filter Perforator on a Jubal Flute for light rythmic attenuation on longer hold notes that i play via the keyboard.

The background for jamming consists off:

    • Another Perforator on a LayR Cinematics pad from Bryce sequenced by a Rosetta Cell.
    • A rhytmic part done with Ruismaker driving an Objeq and sequenced by a Rosetta Rythm with some mutations. The Objeq is modified by 3 Rosetta LFOs for a constantly shifting metallic sound.
    • For some lower end, i added a Zeeon bass going through an AD Replicant 4 sequenced by a second Rosetta Cell.
    • All tracks use an aux bus to send to a Kosmonaut with strange rythmic echos.
