researching apps on google
Not sure can’t remember
Sorry forgot to put that one
Other: Reddit. I asked something on r/ipadmusic and someone told me to check this forum as there would be more input. I'm glad I did!
Searched ios music info from google, including forums. Before checking out this one(or any), i read some article or post about what forums are worth checking. Been using forums enough to know that its not worth joining or even bothering to look at most forums of some particular topic, and that there is always some clearly best one
I found the address on a toilet wall!!!
I put Google Search as every iOS music related search returns mainly Audiobus forum and YouTube links.
But I think I actually remember it being brought to my attention on one of the 3 iOS music blogs I visited daily (PalmSounds, dischord, and Music App Blog).
2011
30 second video of @Michael on a bicycle describing the concept behind future Audiobus.
I reserved a seat.
Other - don't remember.
You kids prolly won’t remember but when Audiobus first came out it was like the philosopher’s stone of iOS. Suddenly you could route audio between apps with some kinda black magic fuckery these crazy geniouses had come up with.
So I had to buy it, and then I’m sure the forum was a natural afterthought.
Can’t remember exactly when I found the forum, but I’ve gotta say it’s one of the nicest I’ve ever found, and I’ve been around.
🙏 Long live Audiobus!
No idea. But my first post was about Caustic.
I was searching for porn!
Gonna have to spray some holy water on you ma brotha!

I’m well beyond redemption my friend
Hehe, I recall reading a little blurb on a lil ol website about some new feature that was potentialy coming to iOS and I fired off a ‘hope you folks can pull it off’ email and later wondered if it came across snarky or not.
@Fruitbat1919 have you found it? The search feature has been addressed but I’m still none wiser
I was watching a video about alien abduction and somehow I landed here
Hope you remembered to flush?!?
Did it involve sexy voluptuous martians?

Main reason for this survey is to see if including a blurb about the IIs AudioBus Forum in our AppStore reviews would help increase or add to this great community. For now, I’ll add it to any or all of my IOS AppStore reviews. Thanks to everyone for participating.
other: no idea
Possibly: Loopy --> Audiobus --> AB Forum
“Sign up for announcements” he told us. Back in March 2012. The rest is history
Yes.This. I was an outspoken critic of the idea that I should export and assemble music projects after recording each part in different passes or different apps with no context of the greater whole. I was so glad @Michael also found it unsatisfactory.
Other: iPad Musician Facebook group.
Other: Blame Tim Webb and Discchord
. You owe him my curiosity about Audiobus, my interest in iOS music, and (by extension) Sequencism
Doug's patterning youtube video. I should drop him a skydiver really.
A long time ago on HarmonicDogs forum he mentioned adding a feature onto MultiTrack DAW that used a thing called Audiobus.
