Hello again!
Now I have tested my above described piano setup for my iPad Pro 12.9” (2017)...
And, as I said before, the sound out of the JBL LSR305 is very good, but, that’s when I play thru Tidals HiFi streaming and playing music...
The sound out of Ravenscroft 275 (and a few other pianoapps) sound less good...
I can’t say exactly what it is, but the sound isn’t there, not near enough, not a feeling of sitting in front of a real piano (at least near a piano)...
The Studiologic SL88 Studio MIDI-controller is really nice, with nice hammer actions and nice velocityfeeling...
After a weeks test I come up with my best setup, and it must be Auria Pro with Salamander Piano (SF2) and a small amount of reverb from Fabfilters Pro-R...
That setup is pretty nice. I can train my piano technics without feeling Annoyed...
But when using headphones the Ravenscroft 275 sounds better than Salamander, but not thru my studio monitors...
I will try more...
Ahh! I forgotten to mention something above:
that I have moved my Apogee One v2 soundcard from my Mac to the new iOS pianosetup - But I can not see any significant approvment of the sound with or without the Apogee connected... Hmmm...
