Try TheAudioDabbler and Jakob Haq on YouTube. Those were really good, me thinks.
I thought with app groups the standalone and extension can share a folder, so could both have the same access to the preset and sample data?
Well, it’s “working” for me now more or less. Pressure works great, the other two not as reliable. I kind of associate MPE with having polyphonic pitch bend for glide per note abilities. Here, it seems we will not be getting that. But you can map it to parameters. As far as the Seaboard Block goes, I have been able to get it to map to a few things, but I think other controllers will do better with this. Really all I wanted was polyphonic pitch glide, I got too excited seeing the words MPE because I’ve never seen MPE that doesn’t to this. If anything, I’m glad we have OMNI now.
After playing it with seaboard block I have to agree that it’s not true MPE. All the parameters you would map to apply to the whole sound, so any interaction will apply to every note. Still fun to use and a welcome addition.
Are you sure? I thought I was hearing per note modulation of the filter, sample start etc.
For example you hit a bass note and then hit a treble note and you can independently control the filter on each voice/note.
My favourite bug is that the AudioPaste button randomly launches Mixtikl 6. (Not Mixtikl 5 or 7, which are also sitting around on my iPad for similar sentimental reasons.)
oh yeah, found some good content there. Mitch's note tuning was pretty useful! Thanks, mate!

Yeah that’s what I was trying. I tried hitting the lowest note and then highest note and heard the effect on both. I tried on 3 or 4 presets but I’m going to try on a clean sample and see. I also wonder if certain parameters are universal?
Time for some attention on this priceless piece of work
So it seems the filter does work per note (awesome!) but with grain start it’s really hard to tell. If I map it to pressure and hit one note and press all the way down, I can get the grain start all the way to the end which causes a heavy stutter. But if I try to do it with two notes, the grain start only makes it halfway. It’s as if the note messages are competing with each other and splitting it down the middle. I couldn’t find any other parameters that can be adjusted independently per pitch. Let me know if you discover something!
You’re quite right. I went through last night and tried all the parameters and actually (sadly) it seems like it’s only filter cutoff that is per note. Everything else (including sample start, end, envelope settings etc) is not per note.
It’s a shame.
However, I’ve still been getting some really nice effects having filter assigned to pressure. And sample start and stop assigned to ‘slide’ (brightness).
We could definitely do with longer attack and release settings on this synth! And it seems to have no concept of velocity or pitch bend (they would be useful!!).
Even so, I still love it!
I second longer attack and release settings please.
