Think stuff you hear in a movie trailer.
Is there any thing ios related?
Also, besides ios what are some good libraries, and software to use?

  • Music Radar has a couple of very good collections of cinematic effects in their archives of free sound files.

Amsterdam inside Gadget there are decent effects. Nave or even TC-11 you can make your own. Cyclop should also be able to produce the Sfx you need.

  • tc-11 ? man i keep hearing how good that is. i’m gonna have to get that one

Soundscaper can be good for this kind of stuff, especially if you set up some appropriate scenes and use the morph to wash/fade between them.

Could also probably do some stuff like this just travelling your finger across an appropriate wav in SpaceCraft while messing with the other params...

soundscaper. intresting. i usually only use that for ambience. i’ll try that wash fade thing.

Oh... And sunrizer! Has a morph A>B :)

oh yeah? I just got the beta of sunrizer. i’ll have to try that

  • right now tc -11 is like pretty promising. would be cool if it went on sale for the fourth of july, but I may have to buy it at full price judging by the demos i’ve seen

  • can you import and manipulate samples into tc-11?

  • is there an app like tc-11 that could midi control other apps ( let’s say 3 synths and 2 fx apps) ?

  • Blocs Wave fx section or Italizer app..

  • I would say BM3 for sound design. So many options. I used it to make a laser blaster. I have thought about doing some more sound design tutorials for things like this.

Yes, TC-DATA. It’s the same interface as TC-11 though instead of an internal synthesizer you set it up to control other instruments and effects through MIDI.

    On iOS....GarageBand, Alchemy, Mitosynth...
Also Zeeon is great with the mod matrix and Model D is good with the excellent filter section for great FX.
    Otherwise....sampling!

    No, TC-11 is a synthesizer.

  • yeah i have been digging into that zeeon mod matrix lately and it’s beautiful

I've been using Zero G Whoosh Designer in tv promos , good variety and easy to manipulate. I don’t like recycling sounds and with it I can tailor new sounds to my need.
Edit- forgot to say it’s a Kontakt instrument.

+1 for TC-Data. Paired with AUM (and now apeMatrix) and your favorite synths and fx (like Zeeon and Sunrizer mentioned above). On my iOS 11 devices it's as close to Alchemy as I will get (not the GB version).

yeah it looks pretty promising. do you think that or tc-11 with its built in sounds? I wish there was one that was both.
