I have both but I use TC-Data 99% of the time. Sometimes I deconstruct TC-11 patches for use with TC-Data for inspiration.

There is the free tc-performer you can try to see if TC-11 is for you.

Love BM3 but there’s a simpler way to get those “pew pew” sounds. Synth 76477 Complex Sound Synthesizer by Black Cat Systems http://www.blackcatsystems.com/ipad/complex_sound_synthesizer.html
For some riser type transition effects try recording something with a a bit of decay (anything from a nice cymbal crash to some synth brass with extra reverb sauce) and reverse the recorded sample. Get creative and have fun with it. Also layering drum hits to make them sound huge works quite well for that movie trailer vibe.
excellent advice
So with tc data, does each fingertip control a different note and cc value? is it essentially like setting up an cubase pad a one note per finger?
Yes each finger controls a different note. Here’s a link to more info and further down a link to the manual. http://www.bitshapesoftware.com/instruments/tc-data/
Yea but using BM3 for it was loads of fun. Plus learned a lot about BM3 and sound design while doing it.
looks cool. is it pretty easy and fast to setup? or does it take a lot of programming/time?
It’s really pretty easy to get the hang of.
@philowerx so i bought tc data. when i press the screen i can see it’s sending midi out, but it’s when i check midi in other apps, it’s like tc data isn’t even there? i selected virtual midi out but still nothing. am i missing something?
Did you make sure the TC-Data patches and each instrument you're wanting to control are on the corresponding MIDI channels?
i think one of the apps may not have had background audio clicked on. seems to be working now. I’m slowiy learning what all the controllers do.
A couple quick questions
1. is there a way to only have one cc controller
sending out midi so that i can use
midi learn in the synth to setup knobs?
2. let’s say i am only playing 2 fingers in the middle of the pad. then i want two spread my fingers out opposite directions, and have that control a cc parameter like maybe a filter. what is that control called?
