Here’s one for you, after sample import is mastered, not sure it’s covered in the manual:

    Just figured this view out...

Each session includes all of these banks/scenes...

The picture shows a session that’s included with the app, the squares are loaded with clips, the Xs aren’t loaded

To build your session you can load something into every X in every grid, and you can go to this view and select another bank to play with while another plays in background.

Load one grid with one shots and fingerdrum there while loops play in another scene...
Resample into the pads/Xs on one bank from stuff playing on another...cool af
I had no idea that these could all be part of one sesh.

  • it's probably the most playable and responsive live performance groovebox thing.
Iirc in it's early days I didn't have Audioshare so forgot about it.
The riddle part is not to complex to figure out, and sccess builds up with experience.
This way tools and methods go right into intuition memory.
Tnx for bringing it back to the surface B)

Man that is cool- I hadn’t even realised the resampling aspect- cheers

  • Has dev every been active on here or online recently anywhere?

This dude has a gold mine and could really use to keep this thing fresh.

I love apps like this and UNIVERSAL! (I know I know .......but I love universal)

  • This thread got me to pick this up. It's phenomenal, but has anyone figured out how to trim samples? Can it be done in the app? I see this in the documentation: "In the future Protein Der Klang should be able to act as a Audiobus OUTPUT by recording the sound from another application into a clip, together with the possibility to trim the recorded clip using in & out points." Is that just a promised feature that wasn't implemented (and yes, I consider "should be able" as a promise! )

The only clip trim I’ve found so far is clip start/offset

You can already use it as an AB output to record stuff in...
