Yah it will make a big difference.... ...I have brought it up before though... more dots...
Since we are talkn Cubasis, one more thing. i deletd all content, all mixdowns, all user samples, all projects, emptied the trash and was told...
But when I deleted the app and reinstalled it...
...phantom data!
Files.app is a good way to delete files from Cubasis that can not be seen in the mediabay.
But I would love to see a ’clean up active session’ the gets rid of all the files needed for undo to regain some space.
I tend to use sessions as ’scratch pads’ and end up wit a load of files that are not needed but still stored inside the session. Some end up in the trash but some remain in the session for ’undo’ to work...
Oh interesting! Yes I will check it out in Files.app next time because there was nothing at all left that I could see in Cubasis.
Yeah, that's the 'problem' for example when importing *.zip files to Cubasis the *.zip files remain hidden from the Mediabay after extraction. Only way to delete them used to be either the wifi-drive(ie. browse to Cubasis from the desktop) or iFunBox. Now we have Files.app for iOS11+ users
