iOS has hugely powerful apps tools, but some improvement can be made on DAW side that’s for sure. Hardware is more than capable. We certainly need to be patient. iOS will perhaps find its own way with separate AU sequencers while keeping its modular nature. What miss for me is still some very simple AU sample players, some (reliable) AU midi sequencers, and a way to use timeline in modular apps. ApeMatrix is a huge thing, with such new tools I will use it even more. GarageBand is my go to DAW on iPhone but it’s a love/hate relationship.
