Thanks a lot for your tips. Sadly a bit too late, because I‘m right in the middle of rebuilding my iPad (damn all those IAPs), but at least I know it for next time. No need to apologize at all!

Actually I have already used Firefox as a temporal replacement. If only I had had more patience to wait for your advice :#

What I still don‘t get is what Quanta has to do with the Safari cache. The latest problem occured days after my latest download of those presets...

    Rebuild an iPad?

    Clean it up?

Yeah right, cleaning it up. But getting all my IAPs and music and whatever back in place feels like building the pyramids...at least the upper parts...

    Never enough room on devices
Or time to make music in the day.

    Have the aliens help you.

    Helped me out.

no I didn’t get the problem from the audiobomb preset download.. mine occured whilst importing wav files into presets using the files app window in the app itself.. though I had switched the app to “on my ipad” storage which is what Chris Randall has now changed so possibly that is part of the bug trigger?? not sure.
there was a whole thread about this but the person that started it decided that as the problem was solved for him the discussion was over! I think they call it solipsism in polite circles.

alright, now I realise, this is exactly what re-triggered the problem for me: importing wav files via files app window (while searching for a way to get a sample from one preset to another, which seems to be a no no).

before that i had the problem when downloading the audiobomb stuff.

whoohoo, maybe I‘m the first who got bitten by both bugs...

at least, after your encouraging words, I might give Quanta another try... maybe...

yeah, it’s a tough call. the solutions haven’t always worked in ALL cases and using an alt browser when it goes pear shaped doesnt have the same ios integration from links in emails etc... though i am sure you can set some of that somewhere in settings?
There is certainly plenty of other things to get creative with in ios if the hassle is too annoying. Do we need to give @Chris_Randall a gentle nudge about this one rearing its ugly head again?

also, I am with you on the weirdness of not being able to share the sample resources from preset to preset. Mentioned it in another thread @Chris_Randall was active on but it went unnoticed.
    not a huge dealbreaker though..

Hmm, considering the fact that I never ever experienced anything like that with any other app... maybe we should. But just really gently. I‘ve got no real bad feelings towards him o:)

Although I‘m still reworking my iPad installation. Didn‘t notice before how many downloads I would have to make... books, videos, music, IAPs, etc.... all that while I‘m using my iPad for the job in parallel.
