I’m keen to know how many presets in the IAPs - does anyone know? Not much info the app :) thanks

The IAP packs include wavetables not presets. Per pack (alien, dark, ambient) around 70 wavetables.

Ahh ok - perfect thanks :)

  • I was on an app diet. I wasn’t going to get anymore noise/sound makers. I had Nave and PPG Infinite, and I thought I had my wavetables covered. I caved. I’m glad I got this synth!

It’s perfect for long evolving haunting sounds - at least the way I’m using it. Slap on a filter to mellow the harmonics, and a reverb plus delay to let the waves ring out and meld with each other and wow!

  • Can you create wave tables in this app and export to other apps? Ar5e there any bids of this in action ?

  • The developer has been busy. iPhone version. New video run through. And the app and all IAPs are now on sale.

You can create wavetables but I can’t see any way to export them. You can export recordings as AIFF but not the wavetables from what I can see. I can ask the developer.

  • This app was really impressive initially.

    BUT F ME!

This is so TWEAK ALL NIGHT SHIT!

I got them all and couldn't be happier.

As soon as I really finally read the manual and figure out what I am doing.

MUCH LIKE MANY OF MY FAVE SYNTHS.....first 30 days is like rehab, just trying to make it through doing whatever I can till it get easier....

    coughs........or so I heard.

    Congrats to the developer!

I purchased the new editor but find it a bit buggy. Not sure if this is again a 10.3.3 issue, but the editor isn't working as smoothly. The sinewave and sawtooth buttons and also the frequency slider in the 'Create a basic waveform' are not doing anything. The other buttons in that section work fine however. Same thing with the buttons 'mean' and 'highest peak' don't seem to do anythign no matter what i try.

Anyone else having the same issues, or all working fine? Like i said it might be a 10.3.3 issue, but i can't test since i can't run 11. Can anyone please confirm?

Do you have much memory left on device?

    Just wondering?

    Air1?

Have you deleted and reinstalled the app?

    Have you contacted the developer?

Is anywhere written, how the wavetable creator works?

No but here’s a screenshot that gives you an idea.

Pretty cool and deep control of sculpting the waveform? Or, kinda basic?

Looks like you can manually draw in your own waveform edits? That seems kinda cool on paper. In practice?

    Awesome

The modulation matrix potential is Nave 2.0

    The app is perfectly timed.

Wavetable like this hasn't had a fresh release in ages.

I love Nave and PPG, but, sometimes you want a new shiny thing that goes boom boom.

  • What’s the sales prices? Again 0.99 for the wave packs?

so is the wavetable editor available
in the iphone version? is it a in app purchase, or included?

  • edited September 2018

are there in app purchases on the iphone version,? if so, if I purchase on the phone, will they unlock them
on the ipad as welI ? know they are separate apps, but are the in app purchase linked to my same account profile ?

  • Can we get some AUv3 love on this app?

I think the developer said it’s on the roadmap but might take a while.

Hi @gusgranite - did you ever get an answer on this?

I’d really like to use the IAP wavetable generator to create wavetables and then export them to use in another synth.

You can’t export the wavetables created in the Scythe Synth wavetable editor to use in other synths. I’ve requested such an option as it’d be nice to use them in GR-16 or SynthMaster One.

Ah, thanks. That’s a real shame.

  • If it will result in more sales you’ll probably see it in an update. I love Scythe but like most interesting synths you need to use it to remember how it works. Still it’s the lowest cost wavetable app I think and it can do the granular sound with the right wave tables.

  • Does the dev ever stop by here? I’d love to know if auv3 is still in the “roadmap.”

  • The user and all related content has been deleted.

    Uh.
Nearly forgot this Synth and I did not notice the IAP.
    Many thanks for this topic!

It’s my favorite wavetable synth, and being able to use one table per instance is something I’ve been waiting for forever.
