    Cool.. we Jamming..

  • @SevenSystems thanks for he reply!

  • @SevenSystems I think I did find a bug on my side, though
It seems like Xequence in the audiobus midi input slot is gating the notes, as if they were being quantized.

Could you possibly make a short video of that and send that to me via PM so I can check what might be wrong? (before you do that: Could you try toggling "Use incoming timestamps" in Xequence's Settings -> MIDI / Recording -> MIDI Input, to check if it makes any difference?

    Looking forward to

Multitrack MIDI recording will almost certainly be available in the next major update (as a very moderately priced IAP). Expect a timeframe of about 4-6 weeks!

    Good
    Stuff
    Thanks
    !!
    :)

  • @SevenSystems it works
great in audiobus, but really would like to use it in Aum . I can load it onto a track, but the midi won’t route to other tracks . I’m confused will it work in Aum or apematrix, or are those hose just seeing a iaa shell and not the full app?

That's indeed just an IAA shell which is basically useless.

However, I've just posted a detailed howto for using Xequence, Audiobus and AUM together in the best possible way (and it's great! :))

Note to everyone: there's currently an intermittent problem when the state (project) of Xequence doesn't get saved or restored correctly in Audiobus presets. We're not sure if it's a problem in Xequence itself or in Audiobus, but working hard to have a fix ready.

You might want to save your project using Xequence's regular "Save as..." button just in case for now!

  • Is there a list of the IAP’s and the current prices? (App Store doesn’t show them)

    There you go:

    • Unlimited tracks: $9.99
    • Drum Maps: $2.99
    • Polyhymnia: $2.99
    • Up to 12 controllers: $1.99

I'll do it later tonight. I did already toggle the timestamps option. The sequence got longer notes, but still not fully right  I'll tinker a bit more to see if it's my fault too

BTW, couldn't sync Soft Drummer right with Xequence + Sampletank. Link is weird sometimes. But Xequence is pure LOVE . I managed to easily put a program change where I wanted Soft Drummer to start and voila! MAGIC

Xequence is the best purchase I made this year

That's really nice to hear. It's also one of the most fun (and one of the largest) projects I've ever juggled :)

    oh dear, sad times
this was the main feature I was after in the new version.... back to saving again....

Nice one for update, let’s see how the saving goes. Thanks.

Let us know how it goes. The stuff that Xequence does regarding state saving should be absolutely bullet proof now. BTW, your old presets are actually corrupted, they don't contain any state for Xequence at all, so they won't work even in the updated version. Just in case you were wondering.

OK, excellent! This at least has saved me from dropping $20 on the new Korg thing!

It's worth the 20 bucks for sure. It's made me smile with new sounds I've never heard before for the first time in months. I took me a full evening of working with it though before it became easy to use and it has a lot of room for improvement, but you know how developers are...they want to get their product out there, so they do so, knowing the improvements that need to be made...maybe even under developing apps on purpose these days so that just when people are starting to forget their app because of the latest/greatest new app, they can yell from the rooftops..."New Update!"

Except Korg doesn’t operate that way. They look back and change / improve products less than any company I know of. (Talking features here. They’re pretty good about fixing bugs) I would never, ever buy a Korg product based on what I hope it will become. If I don’t think I’m going to be satisfied with it as-is then I walk away.

Sorry ... back to the real topic. ;)

@SevenSystems Somehow, i managed to remove the bar numbering, and cannot find a way to get it back.

    Could you please help?

Did you try to re-enable the ruler? (middle button in the top toolbar)? :)

    Thanks and sorry.

Did not notice that button and thought that i changed something in the settings instead.
    :)

No problem. A randomly disappearing ruler would indeed worry me! :)

  • Anyway to change tempo in different spots in a song? Skimmed and searched manual, did not see.

Sorry. I would like this, but seemingly not in the cards any time soon.

Bah. But thanks for your reply.

  • @aaronpc and @Multicellular
The dev has already stated that it is in the roadmap already

  • @senhorlampada You’re right. I was also thinking about time signatures, as part of a tempo track, but @Multicellular only mentioned tempo.

Yeah would love to see a tempo / time signature track. Would also love a scale / key track too :)
