  • Still comes up as #1 result on my iPhone 6S

  • Very odd. Seems like God himself has picked me alone to witness the ultimate demise of the (my?) universe :D

Maybe it's country-specific in the App Store?
If you were in the US I'd suspect anti-Russian government interference. :D

But why would Irish people be less interested in SunVox than 'muricans? ;)

Well, we did press Hillary's big red "Reset" button, ya know.

This is only so that you skip installing and digging into SunVox, but instead create the next massive Xequence 2 update

Nothing I'd rather do! Xequence definitely needs more love again.

"You can have your SunVox back when XequenceAU is released, or audio tracks are added to Xequence. Your choice." Consider this a warning shot across the bow. :D

It's not just you, it's listed as #67 in my app store.... :| The funny thing was, many of the other apps were music/production related.. so it kinda seemed to know what I was looking for, but just didn't wanna show me it.

I had similar problem searching for his Virtual ANS app

What country, if you don't mind my asking?

    Vietnam

  • This could be related to advertising spend within a region. Or maybe to app popularity within various regions.

    I hate it.

It would be understandable for a string that is NOT an existing App, but a string that matches exactly the name of such an App ... this just NEEDS to deliver the App!

    I hate Apple

I assume you hate Google and Amazon equally then. They all do it.

For real, there's not even a space in SunVox! 🤦

Yeah agree 100%. Even if they aren't doing this "on purpose" and have lost control of their algorithm... there needs to be an explicit exception in the code: "if exactMatch then listTheAppFirst" ;)

That would require Apple to acknowledge that sometimes you know better what you want than they do. Not gonna happen.
