Maybe not ? I remember reading something about it (maybe that it's on it's way, maybe I'm senile)..

Edit: yea only windows version available ATM, sorry bout that,!

  • Completely agree with @ChrisG

    Amazing app....awesome value for money.

But those keyboard options would be very welcome.

  • Agreed, the keyboard option would be nice! I suspect that the reason there is not keyboard option to begin with has to do with the fact that Caustic originated on the Android platform, where latency, as it is there, would not make recording live very useful...

  • @Audiojunkie: right on the money.

The option to expand the preview keyboards into fully playable ones is interesting and it's something I need to look into anyway with Android getting closer and closer to usable latency.

I guess that's thing with one-man part-time projects like this though, things don't move as fast as I'd like them too. It took me 2.5 years to get this far...and now with another major platform to support with custom work, bugs, etc, things are moving even slower.

  • Just to throw my $.02 here, I strongly believe the Caustic can be the "end all" for your mobile music production.... mixdown and "mastering" using the tools already provided in the app. I have been working on a few user's songs to firm up and tighten their mix and showcase a final result.... I've done the big DAW thing in years past using various software; and I have to say that I enjoy the simplicity and challenge to achieve the same quality final renderings all crammed in a pocket music workstation. You will find some of my work on that theory on the SCS Caustic Forums.

  • Audio Track with DropBox, AudioShare and iTunes import is a feature that could be added to make this App even more powerful.

  • Maybe today I might get around to trying this out with the Samson Carbon finally then I wont worry about keyboard size. For just one man you have done very well.
