No kidding. So do these work in Procreate as well as Photoshop? I really could use a nice sound set of fonts, the free ones really are crap.
Only for MS Paint, but remember to format C:\ before installing.
C:\ is a virus.
In case someone believes the above:
JUST KIDDING
Holy shit, close call! Thanks Holmes!
So where's the info on where the samples used in these SF2 originated from, and user licences etc, is that all provided before requiring an email ?
Because if not, this is very very worrying.
🤣
Sound fonts should be fairly easy to understand. It’s when we get on to wavetables that things get hairy.
Hey, so just asking, have you thought about making a quick video on how to use or install them and posting it on your site/page? Ive seen people do them for their products. I completely understand not wanting to explain to everyone who doesn't know how to use sound fonts what they are and how to use them, but maybe a short video might be the answer? Just a suggestion😁
Just gonna throw a meme here for no healthy reason at all
I forget that must of you don’t realize this is a revived thread that originated in 2018 so I apologize.
At the time this product was released, yes there was a step by step installation video. To the literal point I start the video by plugging in my iOS device to my computer then going from there.
As I clarified in another thread on this forum, the BS-16i app used to play these SF2s back in 2015-2018 didn’t yet support AirDrop, iCloud and so on. You had to import these SF2s via File Sharing in iTunes.
This video I speak of however is since deleted since BS-16i now has a completely different method of importing. And yes, I do currently have a video also explaining this even easier method for importing.
What makes me chuckle about this whole thread is the fact that those who are hostile towards me don’t realize they are just now finding out about something that has been in affect for a few years now lol. So my response to all of the “good luck” and such comments are yes, I’ve had good luck and you’re throwing a tantrum over OLD news.
This stuff is years old. I wasn’t even really well-known back then as I am now. And to think that people bitching on here is hurting me, your about 3 years too late lol.
Yeah I’m scratching my head as to how the “drama” started when this is almost 6 years old news. I’m not even talking about the age of this thread, but the product of mine in question which released in 2015...
Glad you asked. This product is an emulation of the classic Roland MKS-20 Sound Module.
The module contains no samples, the sound is generated by Roland’s Structured Adaptive Synthesis (SAS). Even Eric Persing, one of the lead developers of this synth, talked about its creation as it uses synthesis and analog tones to produce its sound.
Synthesis and analog synths in general cannot be copyrighted because it’s organic. Not a static sample that never changes.
All of my products also have EULA’s which the user agrees to upon purchase like all other software and such you buy online
😂😂😂
So you should, since you were the one who revived it...
Wrong. I was importing SF2 files into bs-16i in 2013. Open In from iZip worked just fine.
Well, I hadn’t heard of you until you revived this thread, I’m sure I’m not alone. You never know, coming on here and being a nice guy might have earned you a few more sales. We do that here... buy stuff, etc.
Yep. I don’t blame you. Glad it’s working out for you.
