iWavestation was a shocker - I never really got into the VST I had of it in the Korg Legacy Collection, but the iOS version sounds fantastic. Definitely a good late-80's companion to the iM1. The late 80's/early 90's is my least favorite era of synths, but this app sounds wonderful. Surprised there isn't more love for it here.

iWavestation also adds a 'Gadget' so for me it's like a no-brainer ;)
Same with iM1 and iMono/Poly and Odyssei.

@ruggedsmooth sorry, no AU, it's abandonware.

@Daveypoo, sorry no refunds from Hades. Besides, I'm seventy, don't you like vintage?

I was hoping that there would have been an update, but looks like the dev fell asleep at the wheel on this one.

    ;)

  • Better the dev ( would that be... you know... theAlmighty?) than me asleep at the wheel. Narcolepsy increases with old age... then there's the cataract. Oy. maybe 90% off is still not enough!

The good news is I am getting a new Kawai MP11se ( the only one for sale in Turkey) for the same price as a used MP11( the only one for sale in Turkey!). Somebody down there likes me!

Lots of love for it over here. One of the best Gadget synths. And arguably by far the most ‘powerful’ in terms of complexity.

For my taste the editing for the iWavestation Gadget inside Gadget is far too limited when compared to the stand-alone app. There's the 'random' function but no way to create a patch from scratch, for that the stand-alone app is needed. Same goes for iM1 (Imagine full iM1 editing with user-samples inside Gadget, YUMMY!).

I'd go as far as to say that one of the most powerful Gadgets at the moment is iMono/Poly Gadget. It's even better than the stand-alone app when it comes to usability but lacks patch-sharing :)

Careful with Roli Noise IAPs - some packs are not available in AUv3 which is dumb (tap View Details)

Last minute reminder Udemy is having a fire sale on everything and there are some really good music tutorial courses that I can vouch for

Great courses but they have been having a fire sale since the day they opened their doors...

Wait, do you mean that the course I bought for logic was not actually 95% off? ;)

Their courses go on sale every month. For the BF, they had a buy-1-get-1-free offer.

Good news! Cyber Monday has been extended to Cyber Week! Get those last minute discounts before they’re gone, only 7 more hours! :D :D

Sorry you missed out on Cyber Monday?

    Don't be.

Korg's IOS Apps are on sale until 12/3. IAA and one instance is good enough and a free Gadgets for $15? Can you have more than 1 instance of a Gadget iWaveStation?

  • Is it me or does it feel like Korg is very spotty about features of synths arriving in the gadget versions...it’s not consistent at all...

IWAVESTATION sounds very very very almost totally 80s to me...I rarely use it. Yea there’s power in there, but man it’s a painful thing to program. I used to own the actual wavestation and the m1....I love that Korg added filters to the m1 app and gadget...something the real board didn’t have

  • I agree about the iMono/Poly gadget having the most power in gadget, only second to the arp

You can have multiple instances of any Gadget!

  • I need to re-enter Gadget land for a while.

  • I just re entered iWAVESTATION land....hmmm maybe I will avoid sleep and see where the rabbit hole leads

  • It looks like VirSyn stuff is still on sale.
I don’t know, maybe this is new.
I may grab Bandshift for $5 today, but maybe not.
    Anybody love this effect?
