Oh yeah Christmas time!
This nostalgia is getting old.
Ho Ho HoSo Juicy indeed @LucidMusicInc !!! Tis definitely the season. Small update 17 mb but man is it juicy. In addition to the drum machines ready patterns in the sequencer cover many classic 80s/90s hits for quick grooving/looping. Apple is on won lately!🏆
Im happy to see these sounds arrive but can also see why you feel that way...What would you like to see next?
Keeping it Classic!
The full alchemy! I used to own it on PC along with the two great fx plugins they made. Would love to see the full Alchemy on iOS
Funny you mention Alchemy...I’ve been back into GarageBand/Logic X workflow recently and loving Alchemy. Do you have the Logic Version? If so, is it missing anything from the legacy version you speak of?
I don’t have Logic as I’m currently iPad only

Nice!

Virtual Aretha, type in the words, draw some swoopy lines, out come the vocals.
Audience simulator, settings from "loving it" to "downright hostile".
Armageddon oscillators, guaranteed to blow your speakers out!
I don't know really, just a bit of imagination.
GarageBand is just lacking in scale lock on the piano roll, more automation and I can’t really ge5 down so much with the invisible long tap pop up menus. That might not ever change though, but I’m happy with what they’re giving us sounds wise.
You have a badass imagination bro. Very great ideas. Audience simulator...Virtual Aretha...holy shit! Buy different singers as IAPs.😳
Indeed. Although between Nanokey and Roli I don’t miss scale lock so much. Any new NKS goodness by any chance? Still use your V2 scene in Gadget.
It gets overlooked as it’s free and didn’t start out too well, but there really isn’t too much missing in Garageband now. I’m excited for this update as I can’t get enough CR-78 in my life.
Can you tune the Linn, or are they just single samples like the cubasis ones?
At least the Cubasis 'Classic Drum Machines' respond to pitch-bend for simple tuning
No tuning In GarageBand as far as I can see but I may have missed something...
Just to avoid confusion...
It doesn’t show up as a GB update.
Open GB, add a Drums track, select More Sounds, and download the new drums from the Store. I guess it’s a Store, even though everything is free.
These are going to be fun to use in the Beat Sequencer.
Thank you.
Thanks...left that part out. Only way I knew it was there was the little notification badge. Sneaky SOBs those Apple guys.lol
This is pretty great news.
You found the golden ticket!
Just got to wait for those factory doors..
I think it was intended as a 4 word joke. Probably not a real feeling. I have long thought that we need a humor font so we get immediate context for these creative uses of language.
It‘s much more advanced now....you could say v2 (maybe even kind of a 2.5 version).
BUT....those greedy b....... at Apple removed 2 major things. Import of waveforms and microtuning.
That's unfortunately "too much" for me. I'd love it if GB had this.
Ahh they sound great too! GB officially my favourite iOS DAW by a mile now.
I don't use garageband too much, but I'm liking that list of drum machines. I like every one that's included. True classics.
I haven't listened to the versions in garageband yet, but I hope they sound good. Not all samples are created or captured equally. And on some of the machines where you can tweak the sounds, sometimes things are missing from sample packs or sets, like no long kicks on the 808 or a bad choice for a 909 snare, but I guess that's a matter of preference and taste.
Haha...usually I catch shit like that. I see what you did now @Jocphone lol. Nostalgia - gettting old..😩😂. Totally missed the sarcasm.
I wonder if Things like this and general midi routing will ever come to Gb iOS or if it’s expected you move on to Logic for the advanced level hot sauce on your tracks?
I doubt it .. Why would they give you the real sauce on a free app?
Followed this to the word ... can't see a "store" tab !!??
