Just be patient, wait for the right, weak moment...and then buy Reamp. You‘ll love it.

WOAH! Yah OK. Reamp is bloody amazing. You are correct.

It does exactly what I was looking for. Takes the clinical/pristine digital sample sounding drums and just gives em a nice mooosh together like it all belongs for real. Love how it softens that kick and gives it a real air pushing kind of volume and takes the chop off the snare but keeps it crisp.

Would have been well worth full price even without a gift card! All right Klevgr.

  • Great, glad you like it. I’ve bought quite a few apps last month, mostly FX, and Reamp is probably my favorite. Not sure about the tape simulations yet, but the tubes are pretty versatile and sound great. Together with a good compressor (I’m using Woodpressor or NYCompressor) it’s really easy to glue drums together, even with subtle settings. Have fun!

  • Great thread, great tips !
I wish there was an easy way to get side by side comparisons of the different techniques.

  • I think that maybe the blamsoft tubescreamer Plugin could fit in here as well. In sale for a Buck atm

Just bought this after you mentioning it. There is a nice subtlety about it. I just discovered it goes rather nicely with Troublemaker as well.
