Make a video featuring how Im using iPad with my band. ...Started filming yesterday.

Write new songs starting on iPad. By 'on iPad' I mean, I am mainly a singer/guitar player and have always started with a riff or progression on guitar.

Looking forward to both! Please share.

Quitting smoking. The pack is down to three and I've been up all night nervous about it and smoking.

Good plan. Found out just before Christmas that my sister has lung cancer - long time heavy smoker. Killed my dad too.

2019 - listen to less news, and listen to more music.

    +1

I heard each cigarette reduces our life by 6 minutes

I would say it's more a probability to reduce your life. Some people get to 90 yo and smoked almost their entire life and others die of cancer after two decades of cigarettes. It's the divine lottery. Genes are bitches, you know.

Agree. Some are more rugged than others.

  • Quitting smoking is very individual, but for me two things helped. The first was some advice I read not to think of it as « giving up », because that suggests you’re losing something. Just think of « stopping ». The second piece of advice was to find something that gives a very clear benefit to your decision. I bought a bike and started cycling again, and not smoking was a huge advantage there!
