    Funk can never be passé.

    House, Techno, later genres, yes.

    But funk is an original form (like blues, or rock, or jazz —or anything the predates remixing and sampling) and is therefore classic and timeless.

    I might go even further and say, the funkiest music is just pure funk, and fusing it with other genres (House, Techno, etc.) only dilutes the funkiness.

    As a matter of general principle. I’m already thinking of exceptions to the rule before I can finish typing this.. :#

    I guess, the way out of this is to say.. Funk is still evolving. :p B) :D o:) >:) :*
