I just opened a second fortune cookie and it says, "BM3 come out at 9 pm."
The wait is over, boys.
Not sure what you all keep waiting for?
BM3 is already out, and is already awesome.
A new update is not gonna suddenly make your music any better (as I've learnt myself.... repeatedly)
What a load of crap. Eminem didn't make it big until all the plugins in his studio were updated.
And most singers couldn't sing until Autotune was invented
Not waiting for anything in BM3. Just NS2 audio tracks and AU fx automation.
Quite an asinine thing to say when iPhone users were promised and have been waiting since 2016. Also, really cool of them to put their promise on the back burner to make a Blackberry version. Don’t try defending them, because I’ve heard too many of their promises and excuses for too many years. I was chided by them for saying I didn’t think it was coming and told that I wasn’t being professional. Well, I’ll tell you what’s unprofessional—leading people on with promises and assurances of a product, while secretly in the background developing the product for a whole different background! BLACKBERRY!! I’m getting madder and madder the more I think about it!! I’m going to end this post now before I say something that will get me banned from this forum (which I don’t want to happen).
Whoa dude. The Blackberry version thing was just a joke. 😂
Hope I caught you before you had a stroke or something.
The Apple Watch version, however, is real. I’m not sure if it’s in the pipeline before or after the iPhone version though.
😂
I'm using BM3 for any sampling, and I'm happy feature wise as it stands, but it absolutely needs at least a stability update (and this is one of my main apps, I'd be one of the first with "fan boy" defenses.)
Yea I’m very happy with BM3 and use+trust it daily. I do agree though that there are still a few too many promised launch features missing (minor/negligible concern) and a little too much instability when performing certain tasks (moderate concern). I feel that a major feature(s) update followed by a couple of regular maintenance updates to iron out any imperfections would bring the app to the point that it no longer requires active development (aside OS related stability/compatibility stuff).
I'm also waiting for the basic midi filter functionality in NS2 to be fixed, I think this should have been fixed months ago and released as a quick fix. it's pretty much killed my use of the app until then...
Seriously? 🙂 I’ve been stewing ever since I read that... 🤣 As you can tell, I’ve wanted it on the iPhone pretty badly, and I’ve waited a long time. I now have other solutions that I didn’t have back in 2016, but waiting for years for something that I desperately wanted has taken its toll on me. 🙂 It’s easier for me to think that it will never come and move on, rather than waiting, hoping, wishing, etc. 🙂
Stroke averted. 😁
Midi filter? What not working?
midi FX chains, ones which need input from previous AU don't work. If they are midi instruments, like brambos apps, they do work though.
I know it's working in the beta so I don't know why this wasn't fixed in a quick update.
Ahh I see. yah I have not used midifx at all in NS2.
Sorry man, the Blackberry thing was so way out there it never occurred to me anyone would take it seriously. 😬
Please don’t sick the “fake news” police on me bro! 😂
Just for the record, the fake Applewatch image that I posted a while back was also a joke.
That's sort of true, although many pop stars had other means besides auto tune that made their difficulty singing not get in the way of the other aspects that made them stars. So it does prove your point! Outatune just made it easier to do. Then again, technology has enabled many people to produce songs who would not have been able to do so before. Sometimes that's good, sometimes not so much....
I still remember how hard I LOL’d at that!
Hehehe!! I knew that one was a joke at least.
Hehehe!!! I live in the USA, but I'm very aware that this is a global forum and I try not to make cultural assumptions. I knew Blackberry is something not at all popular in the USA, but I immediately accepted that the Blackberry must be for another country's market, and didn't give it another thought. I feel quite silly now to know that I took something meant as a joke to be real.
I feel bad. Tell you what - I have a great deal on a bridge in Brooklyn I can cut you in on to make it up to you. PM me for details...
That sounds AWESOME!! Would you consider a straight across trade with some beachfront property I have in Kansas?
Revisiting BM3….
It’s such a great DAW… An update will make it stand out in 2025… pretty nice..
you just have to look at the Beatmaker forum.. it a wasteland of spammers and viagra salesmen.. ghost town
Apparently some BM3 users still hang out on disccord or something like that...
...but yeah the forum is neglected, home-page has not been updated and well, to me BM3 is dead & buried.
Didn't even bother to install it when I got my 11" M1 iPadPro few years ago...
It's still solid but I wouldn't hold my breath on updates. Historically it has never been updated regularly. I stopped using it full time in early 2023 and haven't went back unless I'm opening old sessions. My choice on iPad now is Logic Pro
Truest words.
