  • It’s live AUv3 version.

  • Can it sample?

The samples in the AUV3-version don’t loop - meaning that they stop after about 5 sec on holding the key .,. This behavior doesn’t show up in the standalone - is it a bug or is it a limitation of the free version? Or does it need a specific set up in order to function in the AUV3 as well?

  • AUv3 does not load into NS2.

Does it load elsewhere? A lot of times, you need to open the app first to install audio units. So make sure you do that.

Yeah - opened the standalone first and also AU in AUM which worked. This has happened in NS2 before and it was some minor change the AU dev had to make. NS2 is a pretty good host for AU’s. I’ve notified SK-51 dev.

  • it’s missing the ‘plastic squeak’ on the keys

You might be missing the point that those samples are among the best sources to be fed through a filter/fx unit due to their special kind of trash/grit ;)
I still have a real SK-1 for that reason and it's a keeper.

    Exactamundo ! Distort/Phase/Reverb/Delay & you’re away !!!

  • I need the portamento!

  • like Air did at 2.10 min ? :o
(here played on an SK-1, but that's the same engine)

  • Yep, I miss my sk-1.

  • How is this compared to like the Sample From Mars sk1 pack? Worth the iap? The no portamento is kind of a bummer

  • does it have a patchbay added with extreme circuit bending modifications??? :p

  • Nice effort, but I still prefer Sir Sampleton for my lo-fi Casio kicks.
