  • The favorite music genre was a tuff one for me. I chose Alternative as in opposed to no music , music of any sort is a great alternative. Now do I get extra credit for using alternative in a sentence?

  • Yeah, they didn't have acid blues hip hop world fusion up there so I just chose other.

  • Interesting polls!!! :-)

  • Where was acoustic-black-reggae-fusion-step-hoptronica-wave?

  • ...and jug band skiffle rock? Hahaha!!

  • Should that read "what is your gender" or "what is your favorite gender?" I like Mares....

  • No electronica/dance music option? I put "other".

  • I had to draw the line somewhere with genres, otherwise there could be a hundred or more.

  • I can't believe no one brought this up yet... Where are the girls?!?!

  • I know there is AT LEAST one here. I spoke with her recently.

  • At least 2, possibly 3.

...and I'm not sure about boone51...

  • May have to bump this from time to time to get a better picture.

  • I'm afraid I don't have any pictures. Who did you have in mind?...

  • I was looking for a better picture of your cat. Can't make it out too well with all the cables and equipment in the way. Cat pics are the only reason I'm on the internet.

  • LOL!! You guys are quick! I love it! Neither of you miss a beat! :-D

  • I'm afraid that cat left me to join Yes...

  • Pun WAS intended........

.....though it's lame now that I pointed it out. ;-)

  • Actually it was lame before I pointed it out too. ;-P

  • How did you know my cat was lame?

  • I thought all cat jokes were lame....

    For example:

Did you hear about the cat who drank 5 bowls of water? He set a new lap record.

    or

Did you hear about the cat who swallowed a ball of wool? She had mittens.

    ;-)

  • There isn't a single female here?!? That's a shame. Anybody familiar with St. Vincent? If you like a somewhat oddball slant on music, check her out - she just did an album with David Byrne... with band instrument backing! She's great!

  • How do you make a cat go 'woof'?

    With petrol and a match...

  • Genre wars aside, 'electronic' seems an omission worth adding on this forum.

Total bummer about the sausage fest around here.

  • I know that there is at least one person from the Middle East here, and several from South America.

You think they might have some pussy shots for @funjunkie27?

  • Always appreciate the assist @PaulB!

  • This could be mistaken for a gay bar, all these sweaty men hanging about sticking their iCocks up each other's iArses. I'm iCurious, see.

    Ahem.

Anyway, must say I struggle with genres. I don't understand the point of them. Music is music, right? Well, I get why they exist, but are people on this forum the sorts who identify with genres? Just asking...

  • I figured most people tend to favor a genre. I also assumed that most people here, myself included, enjoy many others though. Also, even though I chose Rock, there are some sub-genres that I don't enjoy very much, so this is far from scientific.
