Pretty much all logos on desktop plugins open the website, this is a desktop developer porting to IOS, why should they now change something that is standard on the desktop ?
When I'm working on a track.. I don't want press that button by accident.. Just hide somewhere in the settings. What's the use opening a website when i'm busy choosing my effect setup? I already bought the plugin.. and still I'm routed to the productpage.. why? To buy it again??
I don't have the desktop versions but I wouldn't like those links there either.. Hide it in preferences..
If TB is to release a entire suite of plugin like I am hoping they do. It just make sense to do a little publicity for them. Nothing wrong with that.
I bet you are not going to hit that link again.
Well maybe I will. just to see if they removed that link
There's no need to try to sell me more apps when I'm working on a track..
If I like their stuff I'll go to the app store myself
Maybe he could add a information window with a link to his website. That would be way less disruptive and that seems to be the norm that I saw after checking multiple Auv3.
I say keep it as is. Advertising is part of his business.
I dunno, $6 for one of the best Reverbs ever created, that is just a bit too expensive to let the developer promote his other tools LOL
Not a ideal place to put this link from a user perspective.
@DJB could you place this link in a options menu maybe or a separate page?
Must say I’m pretty impressed with this Reverb app some great presets and the control functionality is pretty awesome. Different level AU quality stuff.
They really should have some sound samples up. It’s almost like it doesn’t exist if you google it, and TB certainly aren’t helping with their product page which has exactly zero samples.
I know it’s not a lot of money but they add up when you make a couple dozen app-buys which you never end up using. Or use just enough to no longer qualify for a refund. So if anyone comes across a sound sample, please link 🙂
I'm using it on drums here with some compression before. No dry signal / pre-post.
Never would I ever have thought to set up drums like that. It makes sense though for total control.
Thanks @audiblevideo More videos to come on this. Work in progress, that's still evolving. Idea is to create a standalone iPad drum machine.
You just need to take a punt on this one, folks!
You can trust us!
Robin Hood is an underrated Disney classic.
I thought that was the snake from The Jungle Book...🤔
I can’t make my mind up whether to get this, or sell a kidney to buy the Blackhole.
Yep, the snake who sings the ‘trust in me’ song.
Blackhole.
This is very good though. I just usually put fun factor first.
I wanted a good room reverb and this fits for that. Functional and precise like a surgeon. Blackhole is a wizard though. Each has their place, surgery or magic, up to you. Also, I got TB in place FabFilter stuff since they have similar features and you know $.
You know you’ll still end up with them both.
You’ll find yourself buying Blackhole one day as your thumb defies you and authorises payment on the Touch ID against your will.

I've found that having to click the sleep button twice limits my purchases compared to thumb id.
I was thinking this was more whacky than Blackhole - maybe not. To be honest I can do a lot of whacky stuff with the Audiodamage fx, but I haven’t got anything that does that Blackhole thing.
Yeah I’ll probably get both and love/hate myself for it.
Idk how they rock out such great plugins at such low prices but toneboosters is incredible. I can’t wait for the next one and I’ll buy it very impulsively
@MonzoPro the shimmer LFO presets on this one are very wacky !
Ahhh. I wish there were some video demos up. I've got a birthday iTunes voucher heading my way on Friday, so a lot of this depends on how generous Mrs Monzo has been. Might be a bit weird buying two reverbs though...as I do already have a lot of them...
True in your user case but there will be others who might be exposed to the world of wonders that TB website is.
I wonder what people think how the TB Reverb compared to audio damage EOS. dramatically better or different?
Vastly superior in my ears.
