In the latest version (with MPC update) I found an issue:
When in play mode (play via play button, not manually playing) with the metronome switched off I change the kit the metronome is switched on acoustically but the metronome button is switched off.
I would expect the metronome to stay off during kit changes when the metronome was turned off and to stay on if the metronome was switched on. I would not expect to turn on the metronome with any kit change.
I am on iOS 13.4 on an iPad Pro 12,9“- if that matters

Yeah this app is excellent
Just a minor thing but it seems to turn on the metronome each time I load a kit. Even though the metronome icon is off.

@Nicebutfun I'm thinking about adding a 'hi contrast' option. Also switching from text to icons for the most of the buttons
I hope that text will always be an option though, good for seeing which samples are on the pads

@YourJunk yes the master is not saved with the kit...it was intentional and I'm not sure if it should be
That’s the interesting thing, I’m not even saving the kit. It’s the host state save. I’m not saving the kit in EG Pulse itself. I’m just opening my project in Cubasis or AUM. The individual instruments seem to keep their volume. I’m not sure of a use case where you’d want the master to reset every time you close and open a project.
@YourJunk maybe I can just save it in the plugin state (but not in the drumkit)
If you could, that would be super dope. If not, totally understand. Definitely not keeping me from using it on all of my beats, just a QoL thing.

i’m confused what does the MPC layout do?
or ... just fix it to 100% all the time. That's the first thing I do every time I go into this app, which seems to be quieter than any other I own (except your other plugins).
Flips things around so that the kick, etc start from the bottom-left and go up, rather than top-left and go down.
Currently it also makes it much easier to play pitched sounds while standing on your head, though sadly this feature will apparently be removed in the next update.
That’s what I like about you brother: like the Lorax with the trees, you speak for those of us that work chromatically while standing on our heads.
I was going to admit to preferring to make music while hanging from my feet, but with all the stigma attached to bats right now, I thought it might not be a good idea.
@ElliottGarage Hey, I’m having some issues with the latest update. Looks like the master is sticking but now the kit isn’t. Every time I load and reload a project, the kit goes to the default.
I can email you a video of this happening in CB3.

@ElliottGarage Hi I have some issues after the latest update.
I load my sessons in AUM. EG pulse is playing the notes but there is no sound. If sound comes back if I reload the plugIn but then of course I have to do all the midi mapping all over.

Has the issue of really short patterns been addressed. Last time I looked I seemed to be limited to 16 steps, or something equally ridiculous. I like it, but it's not really very useful to me in it's current form.
You can quantize to 1/64.
But you're limited to a single bar, or 2 bars, is that right?
