  • I’m struggling to keep up with @3sleeves now :)

The prompt today was “coat”, so I decided to go for a reference as well:

    On a gathering storm comes
    A tall handshake man
In a dusty black coat with
    A red right hand

  • And it would be a shame not to play the song while we're at it!

Awesome!!! That’s one to frame man, like poster size!

  • I’m a day behind on this one, had a nice mini vacation this weekend and got caught up in some late night games of billiards for the first time in years.
The prompt was “dark” on Saturday...

Gonna try to post on for “coat” tonight still, not quite bedtime yet.

  • I’m all “coat” up now...

  • Ride was the prompt tonight, drew my dream car...

  • Injured was the prompt, immediately thought of this billboard...

At least a couple of people on this forum will recognize this, it’s in the St. Louis area.

  • I missed a lot of days at the end, I couldn’t keep up. This is my last one, “catch”:

  • Catch of the day, did this one in Sketches instead of Procreate...

  • The last prompt was Ripe...

And with that, another Inktober bites the dust.
I think I’ll go make some music now.

Well done for not missing a day @3sleeves! I wasn't able to keep up in the end, however doing this challenge has given me a thought: about 5 years ago I had an idea for a comic book, and I drew the first 3 pages but had to give up due to lack of time.

But after doing a few drawings for inktober, albeit late in the evening when I'm pretty tired etc.. has made me realise I could probably take up the comic book again, by aiming to draw a panel every night or two. It would take years to complete, but if I had started this 5 years ago when I had the idea the damn thing would be done by now.

So I'm going to see if I can draw a few panels every week, I'll post them to my Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/richard_yot/) as I go along.

You can see the first 3 pages here, I might redraw some of them though:

It's nice to have such good company here, I'm glad you took part in this!

Your comic looks very interesting, love your drawing style a lot and the subject matter is relatable. I'm going to follow your progress!

I've been making some psychedelic coloring book pages in my spare time, hoping to self publish by early next year if I can get 24 pages finished that loosely fit a theme.

Thanks again for all the kindness and the awesome contributions in this thread, you rock!!!
