Back to the Kansas City area.
@wim - you didn't add me yet. You probably blanked out on St. Paul; it's that kind of place.

Hi All - updates done.
I moved out of Alameda just over a year ago. Nuts - small world, man. Did we ever meet?
We didn't
I think we did talk about it though, maybe in of your Youtube videos comments, or with my previous username here

If you're new to these threads, you might not know about the Audiobus Forum Map, which I update when people post their location unless people say that they don't want that. If any of you don't want pins with your forum handle placed on that map, please let me know.
The wife and I recently got a house in North Hollywood so I have a little set up there
And we still have the Place in Yucca Valley (near Joshua Tree) with my mains studio
Salut

That desk is beautiful. Can’t quite make out the brand name on the far left.
Yes, super nice. I think I want one. Where I can buy something like that? So many ways to use it.
Thank you, the “Desk” is a Husky adjustable height workbench from Home Depot, the speaker and monitor stands are made of 1” X 8” pine board and there is a “Skirt” made of 1” X 2” pine board to make them look thicker.
All glued and clamped together. I sanded it all by hand with 120 grit sand paper. I used a trim router from Harbor Freight to round off the top edges just to see if I could. It was my first time using a router.
Then I painted them with three coats of clear satin water based polyurethane
The chrome stands are IKEA bar stands for the speakers and cabinet legs for the iPad. I saw a YouTube video where another guy used them on his desk and I loved the jaunty angle of them. When I checked the ikea site, I found they were discontinued so EBay to the rescue!
