€149 price is a no brainer, instabuy here as long as it sounds ok.
The price is amazing.
No automation... bummer. I wonder how it will stack up vs Roland’s own TB- 03 with the ACB technology. It’s a lot cheaper that’s for sure, I wonder if Roland will reduce the price now this is coming out. I also also wonder how Roland made Propellerhead withdraw Rebirth yet here is a carbon copy in all its glory.
I am definitely waiting for Pure Acid to arrive before I put my hand anywhere near my pocket 😏
What’s the best 303 emulator on iOS at present until Jim Audio masterpiece comes along probably Poison any others ?
Troublemaker
It would be Troublemaker, and Troublemaker is as smooth as silk, but Pure Acid is a lot nearer the mark of that sound from what I hear in the demo.
I love Korg Gadget Chicago

This will be my 1st Behringer synth
But using Apple devices is ok, even though they did the same thing with Logic? I kid, I kid....
Wow. Dreams do come true
Just may have to grab one of these.
Funny peeps still going on about Behringer build quality ... I have the RD-8 and MS-1 build quality is as good if not better than recent Roland product... if recent Roland product is anything to go by
I’m not in the market for a tb303 but if that price is to be believed..I might be tempted for what essentially is , the price of a good night out
I was just kidding. I don’t have reason to put anyone off buying a Behringer, as far as I know they are solid bits of kit. I actually thought that the original post related to it heating up because it was sounding so good. I would have bought it myself if it had automation included. I have a Roland TB3 already, I can’t imagine the Behringer will sound better..... but automation would have swung it.
Another consideration would be the sequencer input. The real 303’s are a bit of a pain to programme. The TB-3 and TB-03 have alternative input methods. If the new Behringer only has the original it could be a bit of a drawback.
£150 for a night out? Are you going to an ELO concert or something?😃
Surely “Designed in Japan” would be more accurate!
I know Behringer will catch flack for this, but honestly, why not? There’s been sooooooo many 303 clones over the years one more won’t hurt.
naaa i said a GOOD night out
Hihi 😆
What an amazing price. I’ve been looking closely at the Crave recently and now this turns up.
Still waiting for that Synthi clone ❤️
I’m not concerned about the lack of automation. The original don’t have it and neither does the TB-03. I’m hoping that it sounds better than the TB-03 since Roland did a shitty job modeling the accent which is a huge part of the 303’s sound. They failed in this regard with the MC-09 back in 2002. So to see them fail again with the TB-03 is really pathetic.
As far as Behringer is concerned, they didn’t quite nail it with the MS-1’s envelope and the portamento is way off the mark. The K-2’s filter is another failure, as well as the Odyssey’s high pass filter crackle and steep range. So I’m concerned with the TD-3’s filter behavior and accent. I’m hoping they nailed it. If it don’t sound as good as my x0xb0x, I’ll have to skip this one. But it’s possible that they could impress me here as they did with the Model D.
As for Roland, I give up on them again. Between their false claims of ACB modeling being “perfect”, their change of warranty terms (1 year parts, and only 90 days for labor unless you own one of their bullshit digital pianos) overpriced products, poor quality control, and lousy customer service, they’re basically telling us consumers to fuck off. So I’ll do the same by spending my money elsewhere. Let’s hope Behringer nails it so Roland feel the sting.
I agree with all you said, i mean you have 303 in your name. The ms-1 wasn't quite right with the filter or the portamento which is digitally controlled i believe unlike the Roland, luckily i have a intellijel Atlantis which although also not the same as the original (VCO’s aren't as nice sounding as the sh-101, they used triangle core rather than saw) it seems to have the same sonic character and spirit. This Behringer clone is from the new Italian department so there is a chance it comes out good. I have a Juno 6 and Roland will never make gear like that again but there will be other new companies like make noise that will.
This is true- none of them or any of the clones have automation (unless you count the Volca Nubass). The main reason I was hoping for it was for playing two at the same time hands on in a twin set-up. The creative possibilities would then be increased immeasurably.

Seems like it’s available in 2-3 weeks unless Thomann are being optimistic. They only seem to be listing blue and red models at the moment.
£130 delivered.
Well spotted.
vs £318 for Roland’s own version in the same shop 🤔
Even the pre-owned market for TB-03’s will take a severe hit. They were selling used for a good bit more than the price of a new Berhinger.
Why do they always leave the best colours until last
One for socialists (labour) and one for capitalists (tories)
I wonder which one will be most popular.
I'm definitely getting one of these, not keen on the colours though!
live stream later. Exciting
details please
18:00 CET youtube Behringer
Apparently they come in Silver, Red or Blue ! What’s your favourite?
