IMS-20 is half price. This is the only synth from Korg I am missing. Does it compete with the more recent synth ?

Go for Sugar Bytes Factory. You will be amazed. Presets are amazing and the synth is really deep

Thanks, I already have Factory. Can we really compare these two beasts ?

No. If I had to describe both with one word, Factory would be fancy and iMS-20 would be mean.
Factory is the modern synth powerhouse and iMS-20 is the quirky mini-modular that surprises us again and again despite its rather simple architecture.

    They are completely different beasts.

  • Does anyone know why the fabfilter bundle is 89.99? Is it normally this price? I know it’s been on sale for a while but it’s supposed to be 25% off and the apps combined must be about £250 or something. I know bundles are cheaper but... by that much?

I have all their stuff in Auria already and am never sure whether to just get the au versions

The bundle is normally $119.99. $89.99 is great. Some of the FF apps are $40 each and the rest are $30.

ToneBoosters competes well at a lower entry price.

Just bought the full unlock for ipad on launchpad. Do I still have to buy the audio import unlock on iphone does anyone know? Bit silly if I do

Did you happen to get an answer to this question? Looking at the setup, I'm guessing you need to pay for both?

Installed the app on my iphone, restored purchases, and it showed audio import as owned. I’ve never opened launchpad on my iphone before, so it’s included in the pro tools I think.

    You da man!

Deleted the app from my phone and reinstalled it. Straight away audio import is marked as owned in the store 👍

When I bought the bundle it was also discounted by the price already paid so anyone that bought some regular priced apps should see complete the bundle for a lot less... maybe even free. Worth checking.

Def. I have both and rarely use Model D, whereas I use Zeeon all the time.

  • The user and all related content has been deleted.
  • Bought Circle of Fifths and Audio Damage channel strip. Looking for any other MIDI apps/functions (the main thing I use iOS for these days... The AD plugin was more support for the developer).

  • Tardigrain now $2.99

  • So I’m limiting myself to $50 for BF - bought a lot of sales already. My list:

    Magic death eye $15
    Mood $6
    Zeeon $5
    Mangled Verb $11
    Rotary Mod $5
    AudioKit D1 $6
    Lagrange $6
    Modley $9
    Aphelian $7
    Senode $6

What would you skip for now?

  • Too many to list...

For some sounds, yes. You can do much more with it, not only "Moogish fat", when you start creating you own sounds. It has all the right ingredients to build them.
If all you want is Minimoog sounds then Model D is good but Viking would be my choice in this case because it sounds just as good but you can put a lot more instances of it in your projects.

  • no jazz drummer yet, but Lumbeat Brazilian and Future drummers look like they are on sale (uk £8.99) ...
