Reinstalling from my purchased apps didn't work for me, it's still appearing as a separate app to the appstore version
ok, well he needs to give out codes to those of us that have already purchased it, so we have access to updates.
I tried to delete the old DM2 app and then download it again from my purchased apps, but I still need to pay for the new DM2 app.
@MonzoPro
@White
See my earlier comment.
Contact the dev and I'm sure he will sort out codes.
That's what he kindly did for me.
I was the one who added in sending a screenshot for proof of purchase.
He did mention that I could try to get a refund from Apple but
I chose not to as that would impact upon his sales and he is an indie developer.
Shame on 🍎!
Shame on tomatoes? But Apple done it!
Unrelated but dude I think I know why your spaghetti sauce is so bad.
I downloaded my purchased DM1 and it’s the same version as on the App Store. After I did that the price on the App Store changed to a download symbol.
We're talking about DM2 here not DM1, is that a typo or do you mean DM2?
Ignore me... can’t multitask anymore ☹️
If it get resolved, great, if not, Drambo!
Just received a promo code from Pascal the dev. He responded within minutes of me sending the email and screenshot.
Ok cheers, I wouldn’t get a refund anyway as my purchase is outside the 14 day period.
@tja
Yep.
Pascal, the dev, is a great guy.
I mailed him about the problem and he reply as quick as the light.
Hope that Apple will help him instead of abandon him.
Thumbs up for him-
@MonzoPro
No probs.
I got a code from him too 😊👍
Can’t be, couldn’t get away with it living for the last 13 years with an Italian!
I liked it fine, but it didn't have any support for velocity. Which is kind of important for a drum app.
Also 100MB? What the hell.
All the dev needs to do is make a bundle with both apps that is free if you bought the original outdated DM2, right?
Promo codes seems silly.
I received the code too and now I have 2 x DM2s on my iPad. Actually a DM4... 😬
Too bad you can’t load both in AUM.
Seekbeats is one I always have happy accidents with and it's got a sound of it's own
(It's an old app but still works fine on iPadOS13.2.3).
YES Seekbeats. God I wish that was AU.
Yes, good idea in theory but the original is gone from the store so not possible...
Maybe they can put it back with a price of $999.99, like the outdated FLMS.
And the description should boldly, loudly warn against buying this old version, and direct you to the current version.
I also got a mail from the developer for a code for the new version. However, I am just going to buy the App again.
There have been a number of posts on this site discussion how we can help/support indie developers. This seems like one of those times when a small developer needs a hand, and rather be upset about how they have done me wrong, I will take this as an opportunity to try to support them. Just wish there was a way to do it directly rather than through Apple.
I hope this doesn’t sour him on audio app development.
Could someone message me with his contact details? I keep trying to access his website but it redirects to Facebook, thanks.
