Plus 4 pockets Analyser and tuner just went down another dollar to $3.99
Beat maker 3 on sale for $17.99
Nice! I was going to pick this up tomorrow regardless. I’ll gladly take the savings and use it to buy some sound packs/bundles. Or another app. Or both!
Poison-202 is the only one I don’t have, but I have more analog synths than I need already. One day I’ll buy it just to support the developer though.
grabbed Shockwave, sounding great so far and damn love having the KB1 keyboard integrated. its a blast standalone, im sure ill love it auv3 in bm3!
The AU doesn’t have the keyboard.
I already have Cubasis 2 and NS2. I am a very bad musician too....
What do you think about BM3, is it worth to have?
May it does something better than other DAWs?
I have read a lot of negative and positive reviews that I cannot understand its real value.
Is it complete as sold or you need other IAPs?
Thanks
That was good timing, a destination for my Xmas voucher - Pure Acid coming up!
TC-11 and TC-Data by bitshape went on sale too

I'm not an avid user and have had my challenges with it relating to stability and usability at times which I think is the root of most criticism, but I still enjoy BM3. It has a very different approach and workflow than NS2 or Cubasis, oriented towards beats (not surprisingly) and samples arrayed on a grid of pads. It might produce a very different kind of result which can be great. You can also incorporate AUv3 elements to flesh out your creation. You'll have to invest some time in creating banks of samples (can be your own) to have a wider palette of sounds to choose from, download some or purchase IAP as a shortcut (currently $1 each, usually quite a bit more). In many ways I think this tool is a better match for the iPad format and touch screen than more traditional DAWs. Hope that helps!
Thanks so much for the input, at the end I purchased this and I think it could be very useful and fun. Seen the great prices in the sale I purchased some IAP packs too and I have to say some of them is really fantastic: the Piano is awesome (after the tweak that Doug shows in his STR video and with EOS Reverb it seems a real piano to me). Only downside is the size of IAPs, in my 32 Gb IPad 6th they saturate all memory, so I needed to uninstall some Apps I seldom use, no problem I enjoy it so now.
Best
Double post, sorry

@royor beat you by a minute....lol
Ha! So you did.. you’re just too quick on the draw and I’m too slow on the refresh..😄
I got a couple of the IAP's.
I wish it would be updated.
I really like the sound of it.
I went for TC-Performer.
It's a very interesting instrument for sure.
The sound is really great.
In my opinion IAP are very good.
One flaw for me is that it crashes every time in AUM if I touch too much its parameters while playing.
It reminds me of the BBC Radiophonic days.
I haven't tried it in AUM yet.
Thanks for the heads up.
Tonality dropped again... down to $1.99
If you don’t have this app I highly recommend it.

I really want Pure Synth Platinum but the sheer size kinda scares me away (9-10gb) how is it on CPU/DSP?
I really want some nice keys, elec piano, strings, bread and butter stuff, in AU, but can’t decide....
I’m thinking PSPlatinum or maybe bs-16i. I like lots of presets, AU, Low CPU/DSP, Any recommendations?
Any good? Thinking about picking this up
I’m picking it up @gregsmith so I’ll let you know after I test drive it
All BeatMaker 3 IAPs are £0.99 at the moment. Which is a bit mental, tbh.
Just watched this video... Sounds awesome! Especially that granulary sound near the end.
Edit: Just bought it 😊
I have most of Eric‘s stuff and more or less love it - waited for ages with ShapeSynth, Just wasn‘t sure either.
I bought it 2 days ago and could not be happier - angry why i waited so long. Love it. But i am a sucker for old school tunes....Remaking C64 stuff atm - so much joy to fiddle!
Do it if you can listen to chiptunes for hours from time to time! You wont regret it.
