Yes it is: the results of a Soma fix and the viewing of a Doug lay-back style video seem to me to be delicately intermingled. So too is Doug's suggested relaxation app, Scapes, which I use instead of Soma.

sorry to go terribly off topic: there's a song from Tuxedomoon, called Soma. Winston Tong, a genius performer/singer, cited from Huxley's 'Brave New World' by the letter. I read the novel, and several years later I heard Tuxedomoon's 'Soma' for the first time, and recognised immediately the phrases from the book. I think it's a brilliant song, like everything Tong has made.
Tuxedomoon is one of my most important influences, so please forgive me for mentioning that song here.

But no, we don't want to advocate drugs of any kind. But seduce people to read the novel and other good literature. And of course to make good music.
