  • Great! Any plans for AUv3? :)

  • Can you please make it AUv3 compatible?

  • Very nice, thanks @taqsim
the rhythm section is awesome (among other things).
As mentioned above, it only requires AUv3 compatibility. Any hope?

  • Yes, that is next on the list! The scale section is modeled after how middle eastern keyboard players use scale converters to change microtones during songs. Try beyati - the second note in the scale is defined a quarter note!

Ok cool, if it gets AUV3 I’ll buy it (well the packs that is) 👍🎹

  • Thanks! This is very generous of you.
Picking up the Silk Road IAP now.

  • Hi TAQS.IM Getting random crashes here , used to happen before the update also
iOS 10.3 iPad 6, Have you taken away some patches from the previous version which I payed for?

  • Oh this is bad man it was better before! It crashes on boot sometimes I can't access anything in Settings without a crash WTF? I've deleted and reinstalled it's worse than before not impressed as I paid for this synth!!!

  • @taqsim bought this app before went freemium. I also bought all the iap yesterday and I like it so far. It seems only that some sounds is not mapped perfectly.
Said so I will enjoy to see this pearl going AUv3 and MPE to paure with Roli blocks.

What a great app, with swam coming to iOS, world sounds are the next area to develop imo. Is this going mpe then? The sounds seem like they already have a lot of expression so not sure how that will work.

Edit: getting loud crackling on the shvi when play rapid notes. iOS 13 iPad Pro 12.9 original

  • Thank you! We’re trying to find root cause for the crashes and stuck notes that some users are experiencing. Well also take a look at the sound cracklings and push an update. After that we’re off on an auv3 adventure. Thank you!!

Great. Thank You. I wish You the best. Your app deserve a lot.

  • Just a quick update - we submitted an updated build to Apple that fixes the iOS 10 related crashes. Along with some issues when installing multiple packs at once.

There is still an outstanding note hanging issue on certain controllers we're trying to find root cause on. Thank you!

  • Version 2.01 is now in the app store which fixes the iOS10 related crashes. We're still working on the stuck notes issue for certain controllers. Thanks!

I’ve been playing around with this a bit. Some of the sounds are quite nice. My vote after auv3 is finished would be MPE compatibility.

The expressiveness of aftertouch and pitch bend would take these sounds to a whole other level. I personally struggle to find practical uses for “acoustic” type sounds without being able to play them expressively.

    Great work though! Sounds excellent!

Thank you, very quick response there. Seems fine now on 10.3 .
It's a good app and the Microtonal scales are great.
Would be nice if you could delete a user patch.

    Thanks again Taqsim

Hmm, now you have us thinking

  • Is there a way to preview the sounds? I've always loved Arabic beats and rhythms but have no idea if what I have in my head is what they'll sounds like. Or if they are worth $3 each for that matter. What is free in the app is really very cool!

If you click the i next to the name a modal window will pop up with an MP3 Player. I just checked and, unfortunately, the ones for the sounds are incorrect. We'll be fixing that tonight!

  • Yooooo this is so fire. As soon as AU hits I’ll buy almost every IAP. Sounding great! Global fine tune would be fresh too but fine the way it is for now

Yeah I second the MPE (after AUV3 of course) 👍 Velocity switching of samples would be great too ..

I would second this if it’s of any persuasive weight. I would absolutely LOVE expressive mpe - if it was implemented so that vertical sliding for example brought on the tremelo you hear on the duduk at the end, with all te flute type instruments. The swam packs on roli noise are a great reference and the best instruments on iOS for me. I would definitely buy all iaps that came out if I could play them expressively. With clarinet oboe type stuff, vertical slide sounds great with harshening the tone, I’m not sure what it’s called but when the instrument becomes raucous. This coupled with after touch and impact and subtle changes in volume on the same note suddenly make the instruments a thousand times more multidimensional. There is also a huge need for this with world instruments not just on iOS but everywhere. At the moment some of the samples are very nice, love the duduk, but the Tremelo and expression is only through the original player at the end of the sample not controllable. Would be fantastic .

  • Duduk mellow c3 c #3 and d3 samples all cut out halfway through. I love this app so flagging this up to be fixed hopefully. I would be really appreciative if someone there would recheck the samples that cut out or werent sampled properly as I think this app is worth fixing up the rough edges and developing further.

  • @taqsim: i would also welcome if we could get rid of that annoying preset change warning. would be great :)
