    You can sort of get that effect by loading multiple instances in different AUM lanes, and use the PC messages to mute/unmute them. Might need a little scripting too.

    You could look at the newer KQ Sampei, which (I believe) is multi-timbral. You could load different sf2 to different channels, and switch by changing MIDI channel on your controller (or in a script).

    Thanks. I didn't know about KQ Sampei, the only other one I knew was BS-16i.
