It’s a great synth and so easy to program decent sounds in - only problem is it destroys my Air2 pretty easily! Lol new iPad for definite soon!
hey it kills my ipad pro too, 2018 year i think lol
It's quite happy running one instance with other things on my pro 2016, wouldn't think to really run more anyway, it's phat as fool 😁
I was having a look at a Pro in store today - ooo they look nice!
Yes, but even better is to export preset from Model D itself that way people can load them even if they don't use AUM
Macrumors says don't buy right now... unless at a good discount I suppose

So far Model D seems to run fine on my 2017 iPad Pro. But there's so many other great synths (Model 15, Audiokit D1, etc.) on it that I probably won't run more than one instance either.
Yep definitely waiting till the next ones come out and then seeing if the old ones drop in price much or just get a new one - presuming they don’t go sky high in price!
i can’t wait until the day i own the 12.9er
Yep I’m either going for a 512 11” or a 256 12.9” or whatever is new. I was going to get an Air3, but the longevity of lightning worries me
Running great on my 1st gen iPad Pro too!
Loving the sound bank posted on this thread too - some good stuff in there
Out of the IAPs I'll probably go for Hyperdimensional Pads and Mercurial Strategies, based on Doug's demos
Yes the Hyperdimensional Pads are worth it.
Also since the Minimoog Model D is made to look exactly like the hardware version, you can google Moog Model D Patchbook or Moog Model D Patches and find diagrams that show you how to program all kinds of sounds. It shows the placement for each knob and switch. Really fun to try these especially for beginner sound designers.
Reverb.com has 2 Moog Model D Patchbooks for free. Cheers!
Moog and Korg make synth apps free to help musicians stuck at home
