Modley vs Stark, which would you recommend as an overall effect that is feature packed?
I got Cubasis 3, but I’m wondering if I should bother getting the IAPs, too. I kinda feel like I’d be better off using AUV3 apps rather than stuff locked into one app.
Not Stark. As an amplifier substitute, Stark is subpar. The effects are ok but not great. I think you can do much better with other apps.
Modley is great if you like to get creative with delays.
I don't really like how Stark sounds. Modley is more strictly a delay with modules and Stark is an amp. I think there are better amp sims than Stark, even the GarageBand amps sound better than Stark in my opinion. I wouldn't really see using Stark on anything other than guitars. Modley is more suitable to be used on other things.
Stark has modules and pedals, but it's not as interesting as Modley. I guess it depends how much you like to get weird.
Sorry, I didn't see @espiegel123 reply, who put it more succinctly and to the point.
Perfect. Modley it is. Thanks @animalelder and @espiegel123 .
You should consider the Waves bundle, especially if you do large projects. They are optimized to work with the app, so they are very efficient while still sounding quite good.
Looks like a lot Of Klevgrand apps are on sale
Klevgrand apps on sale until May 1st 2020.
It looks like most Klevgard apps are 50% off, However all of their synths are still at full price, as of this moment, except Hillman. So it’s basically all their effects and Hillman Synth.
Here’s a like to Grand Finale.
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/grand-finale/id1294979704
I’m considering Hillman and Grand Finale, any thoughts?
@drewinnit No problem. I only use it once in awhile, but I’ve always liked it, and felt no one ever talked about. Glad you like it.
Keep in mind Grand Finale is stand alone not AUv3. Still hoping for AUv3 like on desktop.
Klevgr has a trackrecord of don’t doing updates that actually being new additions to the table like universal, like AUv3 and so forth. But they make good plugs! Bummer though
Desktop: Sonuscore's Origins Bundle on a 'Donation Flash Sale' til tomorrow. 9,90 € instead of 249 (96 % off)
full version of Kontakt needed
(seen on gearslutz)
It seems that none of their synths are on sale, like Tines etc.
If you don't have Busfri (and it's on sale) you need Busfri if you use any field recordings. It's kind of a miracle.
Yeah. Not even Hillman! Still showing as 10 bucks here
Hillman is an awesome instrument. Not the most versatile if you’re used to fully programmable synths with tonnes of knobs, buttons and sliders, but sounds incredibly lush with a very simple, but surprisingly powerful interface. A steal at £4.99 if you ask me.
I do see Hillman at $4.99.
Yeah, I really like Hillman. Lovely interface and very rich sounds within a certain few types.
Not iOS but this site is giving away something like 7GB of samples, multi-sampled analog synths (Juno, Jupiter, Yamaha FM), and more https://www.mgfaudio.com/samples
If you like krautrock or new age ethereal synths then it’s wonderful. Of you don’t then pass.
Or string machines. Does a mean string machine.
I played around with it a bit on Saturday. It seems to be working fine.
Can anyone confirm what cubasis 3 Audiobus connectivity is like? Can you use it in an input and/or output slot?
Kuvert is on sale... just sayin’
Jamm Pro: Produce+Perform Live by Ninja Tune

I don't recommend this app - nice sounds and fx but no support if something will not work good
Don’t know what you’re on about specifically. Have you asked the devs in the other Jamm Pro threads?
of course, even sent few emails with instructions - PM's, emails
