Do you know if it can used as a basic MIDI-to-CV/Gate converter, like the Korg SQ1 or the Arturia Beatstep Pro? When the sequencer isn't running.

From what I know, the SL MK3 is a controller keyboard with a built in 8 track sequencer.
AFAIK it does not contain any synth. Just sequencer and controller.
Here's a stupid question: Is the Mono Station basically a Circuit PLUS? Does it have all that the Circuit has in terms of synths, sequencer, drum machine, FX? I get the sense that the answer is NO.
I don't have one, but this is what I know.
3 sequencers - 1 for each oscillator and a modulation sequencer.
No drum machine, but you can p-lock each step in a sequence to sound like a different drum.

So Circuit is a groovebox; Mono Station is a synth with sequencer. (To be completely reductive.)

It’s a re-configuration of the BS2 with a sequencer per oscillator, but not all the modulation/routing possibilities of the BS2.

I don't know about factory but Aparillo iap is now $10 and it is on sale I belive
Can't be used as AU without in app purchase. Maybe limited presets too or something, can't remember. Actually I wish every AU app was sold in this way, I'm so tired of the lack of trial for ios apps, you end up buying so much shit u don't need. I'd rather have slightly higher prices for stuff that you actually get to test out for yourself properly.
