@reasOne Nice...yeah...thanks again for listening to my late night ramblings about all things Drambo! and how it will revolutionize iOS as a music creation platform.

I think all the compositions and tutorials everyone is providing is just making it so easy to use Drambo to make great music. Thanks for all your contributions!

The fact that you can have multiple sequencers running at the same time in AUM with Drambo is just amazing!

  • @echoopera you are on fire!

  • A little jam with a tweeked version of the Impaktors preset. Playing a Roland pad with one hand and changing tracks with the other.

Thanks...but honestly, it's not me...it's the Dramborg in me finally being at one with my iPad because of this blessed app. :)

  • Saturday morning noodling before heading for a walk with the family:

Have a blessed weekend everyone 🙏🏼💕

  • @echoopera That was very beautiful.

    Many thanks. 🙏🏼💕

  • spent Sunday afternoon building this 65 BPM jam, nice and unpredictable thanks to glitchcore and drambo's step conditions.

So i am really loving how CPU efficient Drambo is. Today i went for a super minimal setup of MidiMix+iPad+Drambo and well i just love it.

Doing this to hold me over until we get MidiLearn in Drambo.

Here’s how that relationship panned out between Drambo+AUM+MidiMix:

Made with M(Mozaic)+A(UM)+D(rambo) and "one finger" on the Velocity Keyboard... with extra Space from FAC Alteza:

"In Space, no one can tell you to turn that shit down." Still... like creating in a vacuum too.

Thx to @Daveypoo for teaching me the in's and out's of the Glide Utility in Drambo. Just one Bite and new room in the creative castle called Portamento or Slip-n-Slide.

Also props to @wim for the "Big Orchestra" Drambo module.

After watching echoopera's and your jam in succession I had an idea. Is it possible to set your drum kit to a different channel per pad? Considering you've been trying to configure round robin, in theory this routing should have a similar response:

Set up 5 channels in Aum (or as many channels as pads on your kit). In each channel set up an instance of Drambo in the instrument slot, loaded with a different impaktor preset for each. Set each instance to listen to a seperate midi channel. If it works as I'm imagining, the velocity levels you play on each pad of your drumkit should be able to trigger different notes on each instance.

Alternatively: You could also set up multiple Drambo instances in the fx slot in Aum, and instead of triggering the impaktor patches via midi, you could trigger them via Audio Input, with the other sounds in the instrument slot triggered by your kit.

    Just a thought.

  • A techno project I patched up from scratch. I've mostly been exploring the oscs and processors. On this there are two sample tracks: the drone is a chord i loaded in the flexi and a factory bongo in a one-shot. Finger jammed on the screen. I love this app!

  • great stuff all around, jams etc . so many new patches being uploaded too . so much possibility.

here is one i put together, just like i used to with my octatrack, all changes coming fro, the crossfader. while midi learn gets sorted out i stuck an instance of turnado in and am controlling each of the 8 fx with the korg faders... some mistakes etc but...

eq, compression, daw cassette and limiter added in auria.

Thanks to you @echoopera , i was sleeping on this app and you pushed me to give it a try.

  • Not sure of this counts but I did use it

    Really nice!

I haven’t bought an app for ages, but this track has pricked my ears. This might be an app for me.

  • @LeeB

    Thanks Lee.

    "might" not needed ;-)

I’ve given up on multiple instances of Drambo/ AudioLayer since I found this:
    https://patchstorage.com/round-robin-flexi/
This seems to be the best alternative for me.

  • This project is all Drambo synthesis - no external audio or samples. Dub Techno stylee.

    https://soundcloud.com/strepitosopronto/drambo-techno-go-2

  • I wanted to make a video showing how relatively easy it is to make stuff in Drambo simply using presets and not necessarily getting into the whole modular malarkey.

It ain’t a masterpiece but that’s what you get noodling about.

Finally paired up the Microfreak with Drambo and so far they are well paired. Downloaded some new patches from Arturia’s for the mf and really love the new sounds.

  • It’s Saturday. Had a great day with the family. We’re all exhausted. Everyone is dreaming. Sleep can wait.

    Time to Drambo.

  • This will probs be the last Drambo-only jam I post (Time to integrate it with my setup). Minimal techno / acid stylee.

Again, all Drambo, performed on the iPad - complete with a few miss hits, late unmutes etc.

One thing noticeable is a slight weakening i the cycle of the initial click on the kick: very subtle, but I couldn't figure out why - osc was synced to note, compression time on kick track falls before next beat, and has not modulation other than synced envelopes.

Also, I didn't manage to get note slide working with the FM osc. CV glide to note in didn't work.

Decided to try out a few new things today in Drambo, and all I can say, is that this app just keeps making music a ton of fun for me. Hope everyone is enjoying Drambo as much as I am. Blessings and Peace to all of you:

  • Today i spent some time with some great Patches for Drambo from Child Of The Corn Dog and had a great time making this track.

You can find his patches here: https://payhip.com/childofthecorndog

Thanks @childofthecorndog for the great work on these!! Everyone check them out!

  • Triggering Drambo with a Roland pad via a Focusrite interface. Layered Impaktors with cv quantizer notes being manually changed with scenes. Running through a bit of FAC Alteza shimmer. All in AUM. My Drambo dreams are coming true!
