O, thanks. good idea! Looking for some now. Wouldn't that be TITMTOWTDI?

Yes... but leave out the "typically". I inserted it into the common acronym and dropped the
"to" by mistake since I always say it Tim-Toady but I see it expands to TIMTOWTDI:

Ignoring that 3rd T bothers me. I'd have to say Tim- Towt- Dee. Now it's ruined for me.
Maybe it's french in original... they ignore a lot of consonants.

I wondered about the typically right before posting. thanks!

Maybe this video covers it... I googled for "Youtube Drambo Patch Management" and the showed up:

    "Youtube Drambo Patch Import"

Ben has a whole series of videos that are worth your time to really grok Drambo. The one covering all the potential oscillator options is amazing... you can use an LFO as a sound source for example. Drambo is a workshop for learning the history of synthesis techniques. For a serious student it's the only app you need to buy for a good 2 year college program. Someone should start "Drambo U". I'm sure there would be well over a dozen students willing to pay. Maybe a Khan-Bo Academy path.

Thanks a lot for letting me know about it! It's a treasure trove for someone like me just getting into it and wanting to learn as much as I can. I was thinking this may be the only app I use for quite a long time. This and some Reaktor blocks.

@gkillmaster ok. In this particular case the downloaded file is a zip file with 2 different versions of the patch.
After you’ve tapped download you wait until the file is downloaded in safari and tap on the download arrow to the right off the address bar and tap on the zip file. It will open in files app and once you’ve tapped on the zip it will reveal a folder with 2 files. Choose one of them and Drambo should open and greet you with a save patch browser. There you tap the desired folder and tap save.

Next time when you need to load the patch you look for the instrument rack module and you tap on the 3 horizontal lines which will reveal the browser with all the folders. Find the folder where you’ve stored it and the patch should be there.

There is a search box in the next version of Drambo.

Is this information documented in the AB Wiki? "There's a Wiki? Like AudioBus-o-pedia? Hell, yeah."

@espiegel123 has created a Drambo Cookbook in the Wiki:

Thanks a lot! Going to try and follow this tomorrow. Really appreciate it. I tried doing my own version of this but things can get confusing quickly with all the possible places and file types. Would like to get one set way of doing it. I notice you can save within the instruments themselves too. And Chrome has different behavior than Safari.

  • You name it @gkillmaster.
It's not always easy but there's usually a way and enough friendly forum members here who are happy to help.

  • @rs2000 is here!

Hey, What are you working? Beta testing Loopy Pro? or a new update for Drambo?

A word to anyone posting Drambo stuff on Patchstorage.com:
If you want a user and beginner friendly experience, think about posting the complete project (.drproject file), even if your work is just about a single preset.
It will open directly inside Drambo and in contrast to .drmodule files (which are module or track presets) or even zip files that can contain anything, people will see something on the screen to work with instead of trying to figure out where to find and what to do with that .drmodule preset again. Also, you can include a little demo showcasing your work.
People can still save anything as a preset inside Drambo but then they're much more likely to know what they're doing, especially the less seasoned Drambonauts.

    Both in fact!
And let me tell you, both are outstanding developers who really know their way around developing advanced iOS apps.

I think it’s the nature of the app. The price we pay for flexibility but also to a certain extent developer’s willingness to listen which can cut both ways as trying to make many people happy can result in too many options.

@rs2000 I think you’re right, at least in an ideal world where we have time to make videos and have a scratch channel to upload them.

I personally prefer downloading a single patch unless the patch in question includes inter track patching.
