I really like Drumgenius loads of patterns, many genres. Transcribed from some of the worlds greatest drummers, programmed by a bass player. Patterns are often long so enough variations.

No listening, but I love FunkBox for classic canned beats to keep time while you play an idea, rehearse, etc. Start it up and you’re going in seconds.

I’d be real interested in a .rex file player for iOS, so you could have a library of drum loops that sounded convincing at different tempos.

Stockholm in KORG Gadget is the solution. I love it.

Very good, missed that one. Do you keep a library of .rex files? Would one just use the files app to bring in a library?

I have a large lib of .rx2 files collected over the years and I'm mostly using iFunbox to copy them from my desktop machine to the Gadget folder.
Sometimes I'm also creating my own sliced loops from wave files in ReCycle.
The Files app should work too, I just try to avoid it.
