Yes... we need one of those for IOS. Is anything close to providing that "trigger" a pattern?
(sets stopwatch for Drambo reference without patch reference... marks calendar for patch reference).

We can reverse engineer everything in Ableton Live or Dead with enough time and resources applied to
the task. Of course... it's a moving target so we may never get there.

You just manually fill in the piano roll. No keyboard input or other midi device before it to program it. Is that what you were asking? It then just receives a note from your controller pad and loops through the pattern you’ve programmed one note at a time. Just to be clear, that is two separate devices in an Ableton rack- a Triggertune round robin maxforlive device and a Simpler instrument .
This is what I want on iOS !
