It is Auv3, it is not mentioned in the app description, but it is here:

It’s shown in the AppStore screenshots though. Was wondering myself

That demo sounds quite shite.
Terrible recording.
“can also be done in.......”
BTW anyone bought it plz comment
Hi Guys!
I'm happy to help and answer any questions.
1.0.9 version is available to download.
Which demo sounds terrible for you?
@AuroraDSP welcome abroad and thank You for writing about your app🤘
Wow, I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that but fuck me is there any need for that.
I just had a quick listen to the demos on @AuroraDSP Utube and everything sounded pretty good to me.
Perhaps just " I'm not so keen on the sound of that demo, I think I'll pass ." would have been a little kinder, while still making the point you felt you had to make.
Greeting a new Dev to the forum with, " your product demo sounds shite" is uncalled for, at least give some context.. too muddy, too distorted? Give them something to work with at least lol.
The one in my quote.
It sounds all swishy, like severe aliasing in the audio.
I can’t tell if it the Bass or the backing track causing it, though.
Ok, but you Sir linked our whole channel instead of single video, that's why i'm asking 😊 We are always open to constructive criticism and suggestion.
Ah, yes. I see.
I meant the first video, I guess.
I will have to check out the other vids on your channel.
Sorry for the mixup.
🤙🏻
Sounds amazing to my ears. Could we get a demo of 70’s and 80’s metal bass sound.
Sure, i'll see what we can do.

Sounds pretty good to me

@AuroraDSP
Bought on Saturday and I’m so in love with it.
So recommended.
Jamie's Demo

I won a code for this app and holy crap it’s a beast. It’s wild how much variety in sound you can get out of this. I’ve been using it a ton on my bass of course but I’m going to try it out with some synths as well. Model D bass going through this will break windows
I’ll preface this by saying that I’ve only explored this app for a few days and look forward to more exploration. I’m running my trusty Fender Precision with a maple board into an Apogee Jam Plus. Mammoth standalone is very stable and I’m able to dial in some convincing crispy crunchy clanky metal sounds. Sounds like plenty of color and harmonics for that genre. For my taste I’m getting a little too much clank, “other” harmonics, percussive noise, and not enough fundamental tone. Some presets are better than others, overall there’s lot of squash and what I perceive as minor signal loss. Again this is a matter of taste, so for clanky squashed metal this works. I’m also still dialing it all in, so this is just an initial experience.
Using as Auv3/IAA I’ve found it fine but a tad buggy. Doesn’t work at all with MultiTrack Daw, putting in anywhere in the chain produces a huge crackle and distortion defect. That’s the only DAW I’ve found that’s reacting this way with it, don’t know if the culprit is MTD or Mammoth. Reminds me of the GE Labs crackle in AUM but stronger. In other DAWS (AP, CB3, GB, AEM, Zenbeats) it works but doesn’t always activate until you restart the DAW. Works for a live track the second time around. A few times I added it to an already recorded bass part and nothing happened. Again I don’t know why or if it’s the DAW or Mammoth. With AUM Mammoth is stable.
I do wonder why some amp sims are louder than others at the same input/output levels. Compression presets? Mammoth signal is comparable to GB bass sims. PSA1000 gets a much fuller and louder tone, albeit clean.
Thanks for depth in review. 1.2.2 is available and should work much more stable as AUv3. It would be great if You will join our group on Facebook. We're doing our best to make it as reliable as possible.
Absolutely top notch plugin!
Waiting for Rhino Guitar Amp
Keeps getting better. Must have
Here I am criticizing an app I’ve barely scratched, and you guys are exuding willingness and professionalism. Cheers to you @AuroraDSP looking forward to checking out the update. Honestly the UI is really cool, more like a fantastically dystopian bass amp planet rather than a simple amp head. I do think the tones are more Nile and less Beach Boys, and that’s probably the point.
Hi guys,
I m really intrigued by this Mammoth bass amp. The GUI looks very nice and it s AUV3. It s been described as a beast for crunchy, clanky tones but how does it behaves for clean tones ? Their is no demos nor comment on that aspect. Anyone here had good result with clean (jazzy/ funky) tones? How does it compares with other bass amp sim?
Thanks
Not sure how big the iOS bass playing community is but I’m definitely one of the people exploring iOS bass guitar sims. Mammoth is very interesting, but for clean jazzy funky I would look elsewhere. Mammoth is definitely preset with heavy metal and industrial scratch tones in mind, so to dial in clean you’d definitely have to work backwards. The GUI is really cool but it’s not set up like a traditional bass amp head, it’s more like a preamp power amp plugin with a plethora of overdrive and distortion presets and toggles. It does have an IR loader.
They’re clearly going for devil’s sweat and not grandma’s cookies. I don’t actually think there’s a traditional clean tone to be found, and it sounds more like saturation or coloration, rather than a standard amp. That being said Mammoth is great for what it does well.
If you want clean and more traditional analog tube bass amps at that price point you have a few options...
Thanks JoyceRoadstudio, for your answer. I d rather find another alternative then since I m not really into disortion with an electric bass ( but could be cool on a synth) . I actually have tonestack but I m not crazy about it. There is not too much option with auv3 support apparently.
Ooh, I want to try this for bass enhancement now (non guitar).
Will keep an eye on this one.
Mammoth totally belongs in an iOS bassist’s arsenal alongside other amp sims and you’re right it’s really cool on a synth too.
We do have some amazing AUv3 options for clean fundamental bass though! Trust me!
Overloud THU, free to download app, free gifts for logging in. They have many packs, bundles, and rigs for purchase but if you go ala carte, Bass amps and cabinets are $5 each, just buy one amp and one cabinet and see how you like it! Try the Bass SuperTubeCL amp and the 4x10 OB Tweed ‘59 cab. They have a total of 5 bass amps and 3 bass cabs available for purchase. They also have a rig collection in the store called Bass Rigs Vol. 1, which is an amazing collection of real captured bass rigs and bang for your buck. I will also recommend the Nembrini PSA1000, it’s a preamp AUv3 that’s especially great for bass clean, jazzy, and growly. I believe Amplitube and Bias also have Bass amps, never tried them though.
