Thank you!
“thick/Heavy vibe and evocative atmosphere” are exactly what we were going for! 😭
Well, I might have to wait on my ‘warranty replacement’ Scarlett to get here before I attempt any guitar recording. Been trying to use this iRig HD guitar interface thing and it’s a noisy POS. Hmm maybe if I carry this out to the patio, away from all the electronics (PCs running etc)
I use batteries whenever I open a guitar channel with my irig, though it’s not a HD , just a pro IO I think, but that makes all the difference on it with noise - thought the guitar was knackered until I tried that...
@Krupa @Intrepolicious cmon u2 make a collab stick to midi = low noise
I have just landed in Greece for three weeks so no guitar anyway, will have to how much free time my octopus friends under the sea leave me with
dang forgot
I do have my iPad and I’ve already been recording stereo with new headphone things, main creative output here is usually drawing but i do expect some auditory musings as well
I just did a sound check out and away from the computers and it’s like night and day.. but now I realize my strings are shot. Ugh... guitar problems...
Btw, I’m down for a collab with anyone. Just so you know I did see that lol
I’m still waiting on the mad scientist @LinearLineman to add something to the last track I sent him.
Here’s a video I made with @echoopera and me. I just laid down a stream of consciousness solo on top of one of his published tracks in one take. It came out pretty good:
Every time I hear one of his tracks I feel like blowing on it. I don’t know if he ever fully approved of me doing this or not.
Yeah i remember this. Nice flowing piece. Glad i am able to ignite a spark in you. 👊🏼™️
@Wrlds2ndBstGeoshredr, what a great cross country ride! One of the most exciting music videos I have ever seen. Great shredding and background. Never lets up. Keep on truckin! A must watch!! (I watched it twice 🤯)
@Intrepolicious, I had to fuck with @McD ’s head first. Today I’ll mess with yours.
@rs2000 brought this collaboration out on the Gadget thread. I thought it worthy yo post here. 2000’s creations are few and far between here. But always worth the listen.
Although it's neither a Gadget project nor a collab, I've just posted one of my recent projects here:

Here’s two versions of the first sixteen chords in @LinearLineman’s Evangeline.
This is LinearLineman’s version...
This is Hypnopad’s....
Wow! All amazing stuff guys! Very inspiring! @Wrlds2ndBstGeoshredr @echoopera @LinearLineman @rs2000 @hypnopad and @mcd
@LinearLineman I’m still waiting!
Tomorrow @Intrepolicious. How’s the hand?
You wouldn’t believe what I’ve been through with my hands over the last couple days.
Edited to remove non collab content.
@Intrepolicious, monumental ouch! Sounds totally gruesome. Keep your hands in your fucking pockets when you’re outside! So, You live in Florida?
Just south of Jacksonville, yes.
@Intrepolicious , I retired to St. Augustine in 2002. Lived there for five years. Wonderful place.
Indeed it is! I visit every now and then.
Just bought BASSalicious 2 and Addstation today. Both sound awesome and can’t wait to dive into some sound creation. Got another double shift tomorrow though, so off to bed I go...
"Unholy Alliance "
AUM only, Bass from my novation xstation,FFL2 Saturn DDMF,digistix 909 samples and a ton of fx... @iOSTRAKON on poetry suspect his version will be up soon
Marilyn Mansonish sounds to me, which is a good thing! Diggin it! I don’t know about the vocal track. Definitely keep the sound!
@LinearLineman jaw dropping chops you sent me today!
The @LinearLineman and I collab'ed and then split on the final choice of apps and mix:
And I think @noob is doing another version too, if I got that right.
struggle with cubasis3.. dunno but one of my pile of JUNK plugins makin it crash.. But, I deleted @LinearLineman s freeze tracks and changed the instruments , now it gives me less crashing, could be the combo of missing plugins and the frozen tracks
Maybe you could work from "wave file stems". Cubasis can spit out one audio file per track. Cubasis can be
a nightmare at times.
yeh but with more cowbell and fugal horns ofc
@McD, after my initial difficulty (set latency to 11.7 ms) was overcome, CB3 has been performing admirably and I wrote an appstore review to say so. Much smoother operations than CB2. No complaints, except you’re not getting me, and @noob, tracks fast enough!🥱.
